A pregnant Illawarra mum, who had the words “fraud is not a crime, it’s a way of life” written on her bathroom mirror, has been refused bail, after allegedly forging medical certificates to get out of community service work.

Jade Killin, who is three-months pregnant with her third child, broke down in tears as Magistrate Robert Walker refused her application for bail on Tuesday, less than 24 hours after she was arrested by the Lake Illawarra Tech Crime and Anti-Theft Units and charged with 14 offences, including making false documents and using the same documents.

The 32-year-old is accused of creating false medical certificates and forging her doctor’s signature to excuse herself from community service work with Wollongong Community Corrections.

According to documents tendered to the court, Killin allegedly supplied fraudulent medical certificates on four occasions, which stated she was suffering from either a “respiratory infection” or “severe morning sickness”.

Wollongong Community Corrections’ raised suspicions about Killin’s medical certificates on October 31, when they realised it looked different to the others she’d allegedly sent in September.


Community Corrections contacted the doctor who signed the medical certificate, who informed the organisation he had not issued nor signed the alleged certificates in September, but that he had issued the fourth and final one in October.

Police were notified and on Monday, officers conducted a search at the home Killin shares with her partner and children.

During the search, police allegedly found several “incriminating” items, including 50 bank cards in various names, driver’s licences in various names and several with Killin’s face printed on them, but no name.

Above Killin’s bedhead police allegedly found a “fraud to do list” sticky-taped to the wall.

According to court documents, the list featured descriptions like “Monday: try to do two payslips each for 10 names”.

Saturday was allegedly “Servo Day”, where the plan was to “apply for fuel cards in five different names with all companies” while Sunday was “LOANS DAY!”, where Killin allegedly planned to “apply for loans using five different names”.

As well as the “to-do list”, police will allege Killin had scribbled the words “fraud is not a crime, it’s a way of life,” on her mirror in pink lipstick.

As well as locating a bag full of shredded documents, court documents allege police also found a small amount of ice and cannabis.

After her arrest yesterday, Killin was taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station, where she refused to be interviewed and unlock her phone for police, the court heard.

During her appearance on Friday, Killin’s defence lawyer argued for her release, noting she was in the early stages of her pregnancy and that jail would not be a “ healthy environment for her”.

But, due to her criminal record, Magistrate Walker declined her application for bail.

The matter will return to court later this month.

Five police officers have been assaulted after being called to a home in Dapto.

When they got to the home on Byamee Street Dapto about 3.30 yesterday afternoon, one officer was allegedly punched in the chest by a woman, before she turned and slapped another officer.

The woman allegedly attempted to spit at police before locking herself in a caravan in the backyard of the property

Officers negotiated with the woman before she allegedly opened the door and again attacked police.

Officers located and seized drugs and drug paraphernalia at the property.

Both the woman and a male police officer were taken to hospital.

Dapto just down the road from Unanderra   maybe they are sisters.. ::) ::)

I look at it objectively.

- He's a proven pathological liar. Fact.

- He has admitted to sexually assaulting women. Fact.

- One of his closest friends was Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted child sex offender. Fact.

- His very own wife said that he violently attacked and raped her. Fact.

Despite all of these indisputable facts, you think that every single woman who has accused him of sexual assault is lying.

The child he allegedly raped withdrew her complaint from court because she received death threats.

And, of course he could have paid off 70 women. In case you didn't know it, he's rich.  Very rich.

I find it very sad that you continue to defend an alleged child rapist, whilst maintaining that any woman who cries 'rape' but doesn't go to court is a liar.

Donald Trump 'threatened to kill rape accuser if she reported him'

Further details of the child rape accusation against Donald Trump have been thrust into the spotlight after his accuser failed to show up at a press conference citing "great fear" after receiving "terrible threats".

Jane Doe alleges Mr Trump raped her when she was 13 years old at a party in 1994 at a New York apartment belonging to billionaire investor Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of soliciting an underage prostitute in 2008.

The lawsuit claims that after the rape, Mr Trump threatened the plaintiff by saying if she ever revealed any details, her and her family "would be physicaly harmed, if not killed".

None of which has been taken to a court and proven...

You are misrepresenting the realities of law, which require that a case be proven on fact beyond any reasonable doubt.... the fact that some rape accusations are not pursued is because there is insufficient evidence - especially when the complainant was drunk etc, and has no clear recollection.

Some are liars - some don't know the difference between reality and unreality - some have 'hangover remorse' and want someone to blame for being sluts.

How would you like the woman in this case we are discussing to be the complainant of rape against you ... and have it totally accepted instantly because 'she's a woman', etc?

Moreover, there is a signed independent witness statement lodged in a New York court corroborating her account of events.

A pregnant Illawarra mum, who had the words “fraud is not a crime, it’s a way of life” written on her bathroom mirror, has been refused bail, after allegedly forging medical certificates to get out of community service work.

Jade Killin, who is three-months pregnant with her third child, broke down in tears as Magistrate Robert Walker refused her application for bail on Tuesday, less than 24 hours after she was arrested by the Lake Illawarra Tech Crime and Anti-Theft Units and charged with 14 offences, including making false documents and using the same documents.

The 32-year-old is accused of creating false medical certificates and forging her doctor’s signature to excuse herself from community service work with Wollongong Community Corrections.

According to documents tendered to the court, Killin allegedly supplied fraudulent medical certificates on four occasions, which stated she was suffering from either a “respiratory infection” or “severe morning sickness”.

Wollongong Community Corrections’ raised suspicions about Killin’s medical certificates on October 31, when they realised it looked different to the others she’d allegedly sent in September.


Community Corrections contacted the doctor who signed the medical certificate, who informed the organisation he had not issued nor signed the alleged certificates in September, but that he had issued the fourth and final one in October.

Police were notified and on Monday, officers conducted a search at the home Killin shares with her partner and children.

During the search, police allegedly found several “incriminating” items, including 50 bank cards in various names, driver’s licences in various names and several with Killin’s face printed on them, but no name.

Above Killin’s bedhead police allegedly found a “fraud to do list” sticky-taped to the wall.

According to court documents, the list featured descriptions like “Monday: try to do two payslips each for 10 names”.

Saturday was allegedly “Servo Day”, where the plan was to “apply for fuel cards in five different names with all companies” while Sunday was “LOANS DAY!”, where Killin allegedly planned to “apply for loans using five different names”.

As well as the “to-do list”, police will allege Killin had scribbled the words “fraud is not a crime, it’s a way of life,” on her mirror in pink lipstick.

As well as locating a bag full of shredded documents, court documents allege police also found a small amount of ice and cannabis.

After her arrest yesterday, Killin was taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station, where she refused to be interviewed and unlock her phone for police, the court heard.

During her appearance on Friday, Killin’s defence lawyer argued for her release, noting she was in the early stages of her pregnancy and that jail would not be a “ healthy environment for her”.

But, due to her criminal record, Magistrate Walker declined her application for bail.

The matter will return to court later this month.


Amazes me, this media - she's not "an Illawarra woman" - she's "an Illawarra mum" - an automatic position of sanctity - so the court must be hard, cold and evil for keeping her in prison for heinous offences...
