Moreover, Britain is currently in a pitched battle with the European Union for independence. Trump has set a very stark example of his words, which he called an “exciting program of national renewal.” This involves forcing other NATO members to pay their fair share instead of the United States carrying most of the cost, as well as the border wall itself. Judging by the economic prosperity of the United States, it’s hard to argue Trump’s point. The U.S. has only increased in power while other countries considered to be more progressive have run into issue after issue thanks to their globalism.
