Hi Guys

I have recently upgraded my Foxtel STB from IQ2 to IQ4 but am having an annoying flickering breaks of picture/sound some of the time.

The iQ4 is great in the respect it offers all your Foxtel channels and also your free to air channels via a FTA aerial and the ability to record the FTA channels with series link and also offers NETFLIX.

The bloody flickering is driving me nuts , lots of complaints on the net, have any of you had the same issue and any suggested solutions

Some suggest it is a recent software upgrade

get your foxtel box, go for a trip up telecom tower, and drop it out the window and into the parking area.

Just look out for pedestrians below, they're not to blame for murdicks antics..

My Mum had the same problem. I bought her a new TV as a birthday present and she didn't notice the issue after that. She had an old Sony LCD that was nearly 10 years old.

I never noticed it, but then again, maybe she was just trying to score a new TV haha.

Have you set the output to 1080p?

Yeah tried all that thanks mate..even pondered the Elvis solution
