Title: Electric Car emissions

The above studies indicate that the terminology “zero emission” is a misnomer when referring to electric vehicles. Also, lawmakers should be cautious about subsidizing electric vehicles when their electricity is generated mainly by fossil fuels because they are not lowering the carbon dioxide emissions from automobiles by doing so. The old saying that “the road to hell is paved with good intentions” may well apply to many of the gimmicks and work-arounds advocated by whatever group is popular with a political and media elite at any given time. Germany’s lessons should be a case study for political leaders everywhere.

You wont hear about this on main stream news.

Don't be surprised if the IFO think tank get shut down or funding is withdrawn, especially if they keep making unpleasant noise.

The MSM [mainstream media] has been in its    POST-TRUTH    death-spiral for several decades now.

If any truth does not serve them, does not serve their PC interests, then it is not examined, and is certainly not broadcast or published,
unless there is no other option, than to acknowledge it [a particular truth].

And they [the MSM] wonder why so many people today, regard so much of the MSM with such disdain !

disdain = = the feeling that someone or something is unworthy of one’s consideration or respect.

Without fossil fuels & rare earths you electric cars & wind turbines don't get made..........

therefore saying any of it is "green" like "zero emissions" is a misnomer ........

as for being fed propaganda and taking it up the arze .........

you're already laying in bed & having your first cigarette waiting for your renewable lover to rise & make the next installment.

Oh yeah ... your solar panels, inverters & batteries are made from fossil fuels as well. ::)

Australia’s cheapest and most expensive cars to own

An annual report conducted by the Royal Automobile Club of Queensland (RACQ) has analysed 141 different vehicles and detailed the cheapest and most expensive new cars to own and run.

The research takes into account all the standard expenses associated with purchasing and owning a new car. This includes loan interest, fuel, tyres, registration, servicing, insurance and depreciation.

The most expensive vehicles to operate were electric vehicles. The Tesla Model X and Model S luxury vehicles both cost close to $500 a week. This is in part to brutal depreciation costs of close to $300 a week and high purchase prices of about $150,000.

Sure. I think our fossil fuel reserves, which are finite, should be kept for things we need like building renewables. Carelessly using every fossil fuel we have in the here and now impoverishes the future and denies them resources.

If you use a recharge facility anywhere on your trips ... you will be recharging with electricity made by fossil fuels.

Recovering energy with equipment made from or with fossil fuels in the process.

Your power at home unless you've forked out a packet to go off the grid is generated by fossil fuels.

Nothing is for free.

btw ... you been tripping around & come home & the car is in need of a good charge ... you put it on the charger then realise you need to go out again ..........several times maybe

have you got enough charge not to get caught short?

Set our fossil fuel reserves mainly both coal & gas are being exported ... not used here.

They are shutting down & not rebuilding coal fired power stations ..... & with todays more efficient technology I think that's a retrograde step.

I think we should limit the number of mines/export allowed and use more of our own.

It's never a one off investment ... it requires maintenance ... the panels & inverter have a life span.

And they both would not be made without the use of fossil fuel.

Such a pity that you can't grasp the simple concept that one F-R-E-E item out of 2 or 3 items does not make the whole F-R-E-E.

Perhaps you should try this "logic" at Coles or Woolies.

Electric toy cars are filthy pollution spewing dangerous unsafe very inconvenient trash.

The Tesla exhaust is at the coal power station spewing out filthy pollution.

The very few people who can charge at home and the even fewer people who have a solar installation are negligible as many people park in the street and recharge at recharge points fed by COAL POWER STATIONS.

Can you imagine parking in the street and running an extension lead out over the footpath and someone comes along and trips on the extension lead and breaks an arm and them SUES the offending pollution spewing electric toy car owner ?

Exactly the same thing happens when you run out of petrol !

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3212222/More-800-000-drivers-year-run-fuel.html

Quote:
Nearly a million motorists a year break down after risking near-empty fuel tanks.

Research shows the number running out of petrol or diesel has risen every year since 2011, when the figure was a third lower. Men made up most of the 827,000 who ignored the fuel warning light.

The study by insurer LV= found that one in four drivers think they can cover 40 miles or more in the red zone. But half of cars cannot manage that distance.

That's the individuals stupidity ... nothing to do with with comparisons of renewables over fossil fuels.

Yeh right socko - hydrogen is really safe isn't it  !!

DonDeeHippy wrote on Jun 12th, 2019 at 8:26am:
Hydrogen Fueling Station Explodes: Toyota & Hyundai Halt Fuel Cell Car Sales

Blast was so big it set off airbags in nearby cars.

A hydrogen refueling station exploded and stood in flames yesterday in Sandvika, Norway, which could make June 10, 2019 the day when the perception about hydrogen stations and hydrogen fuel cell cars, in general, will forever change.
According to reports from the Uno-X station, the explosion was huge. It triggered airbags in nearby cars and caused the necessity to close off the busy E18 and E16 intersection. A safety zone of 500 meters was recommended by the fire service.

"“It is probably a tank that has exploded at the hydrogen station next to the police station at Kjorbo,” The Fire Services tells the local newspaper Budstikka."
"“E18 near the site is closed in both directions due to the danger of explosion. The E16 at the Bjornegarden tunnel in Barum is closed for the same reason,” The Road Traffic Central tweets Tweets."

The cause of the explosion is not yet known as it needs to be investigated.

Because of that, Uno-X closed its two other stations with hydrogen in Norway, while carmakers - Toyota and Hyundai - temporarily stopped sales of FCVs (well, only a few per month were usually sold anyway). Owners of FCVs are expected to get loaner cars.

Taking into consideration how few hydrogen refueling stations are installed around the world, with this explosion, the average number of explosions per station will probably be orders of magnitude higher than for any other fuel. Not a good thing if you intend to promote FCVs.
We were often criticizing hydrogen fuel cell cars as a poor alternative for all-electric, because of low energy efficiency, high cost and lack of refueling infrastructure. As the charging times decreased in new BEVs thanks to ultra-fast chargers and the range on a single charge increased, it seemed that FCVs will never have a chance to take off. Any issues with safety (especially if repeated) only adds to the challenge.

Just last week a Hydrogen Plant in Sanfracisco exploded and stopped hydrogen supply there, now this...

The explosion set off airbags in surrounding areas, just lucky no one was refilling.......Hydrogen is a highly flammable liquid under immense pressure (10,000psi)..... ;)

Owners of the dangerous unsafe electric toy cars must feel guilty knowing they are causing extra foul pollution from the coal power stations every time they recharge their junk heap.

Very few owners can recharge at home or even fewer will have solar and many required batteries to be able to recharge overnite.

One of the biggest thrills of all with a dangerous unsafe electric car is to get a flat battery in the middle of nowhere. And it is inevitable that this will happen.

Hydrogen will save the day for big and small vehicles as electric can only power toy cars.

What are you talking about socko. Millions have solar installations in Australia and Tesla provide free chargeups at their charging stations all offset by green energy of course !! I just walked past a new charging station at Monash University the other day ! It's a no brainer to tap into the grid and provide charging stations. get serious will you. 6.6kW PV system for $2150 !!

;D ;D ;D A $2150 system that's going to be a one off investment?

Cheap shyte that probably won't last 10 years.

Oh & getting paid 8 cents a KW that goes back into the grid when they charge 19 to 26 cents a KW .... takes a lot of gloss off that investment.

Not if you use it directly to charge up your EV then you get the full benefit of 26 cents a kw-hr. See what your fossil fool clunker has got to offer you in terms of fuel rebates ?? For $2150 spent at the fool bowser it just goes straight out of the tail pipe and wasted on heating up brake rotors and wearing down brake pads :(

So electric cars have no brake rotors & pads?  ::)

The fossil fuel propels you down the road the same as the battery .....

the electric energy disappears just the same.

They do but 90% of the time the regen is used to slow the car down and recover the energy that would be wasted as heat !!! I have driven a Tesla and that is indeed what happens so the brakes last much much longer than a fossil fool car !

So the electric motors are actually Traction Motors that have what's called Dynamic Braking like on locomotives?

In a nutshell yes but unlike a deisel locomotive it doesn't dump the energy into heating up a bank of resistors !

The heat energy that comes from changing the motor from traction to a generator has to be dissipated .... it goes through a fan cooling grid.

Some electric suburban trains return power to the grid through the rails when in dynamic brake ...

some electric locomotives return it to the overhead wires ... some don't ... they also dissipate the power as heat through a grid.

Oh & using battery storage on your solar isn't in the affordable range when you speak of a $2,150 investment.

The one off life time expense petal. ;)

Just looked at the Powerwall 2 specs. Warranty 10 years, so they are covered that long. It seems far short of a one off lifetime cost if it is using your life time as the base period.

If it is the EV lifetime it seems you need to purchase one every new EV.

Electric toy cars are fowl pollution spewing child labour exploiting evil.

The dirty secret of electric vehicles

The number of electric vehicles on the world’s roads is rising fast. Latest figures show there are more than three million and sales are growing at close to 75% a year. But now doubts have been raised about the ethics of buying one.

Amnesty International says human rights abuses, including the use of child labour, in the extraction of minerals, like cobalt, used to make the batteries that power electric vehicles is undermining ethical claims about the cars.

Kumi Naidoo, Amnesty’s Secretary General, told the recent Nordic EV Summit in Oslo, that climate change should not be tackled at the expense of human rights. “Without radical changes, the batteries which power green vehicles will continue to be tainted by human rights abuses,” he said.

Cobalt is a big health risk to those - including children - that mine it. Image: Amnesty International

Child labour
Amnesty points to serious health risks to child and adult workers in cobalt mines in the Democratic Republic of Congo, documented in a report it issued. More than half the world’s cobalt comes from southern DRC, much of it from artisanal mines that produce 20% of the country’s output.

Artisanal miners as young as seven were seen by researchers who visited nine sites including deep mines dug by hand using basic tools. Miners, the youngest of whom were earning as little as $1 a day, reported suffering chronic lung disease from exposure to cobalt dust.

Cobalt from these mines is sold on to major producers. No country has laws requiring producers to report on their supply chains, which Amnesty says means the chance electric vehicle batteries are “tainted with child labour and other abuses” is unacceptably high.

Battery manufacture now accounts for 60% of the 125,000 tonnes of cobalt mined globally each year.

A move last year by the London Metal Exchange to ban the sale of tainted cobalt was opposed by a consortium of 14 NGOs, including Amnesty, on the grounds it would simply drive the trade underground. They called for greater traceability of the mineral’s sources.

The World Economic Forum's Global Battery Alliance notes two major challenges:

"First, raw materials needed for batteries are extracted at a high human and environmental toll. This includes, for example, child labour, health and safety hazards in informal work, poverty and pollution. Second, a recycling challenge looms over the eleven million tonnes of spent lithium-ion batteries forecast to be discarded by 2030, with few systems in place to enable reuse and recycling in a circular economy for batteries."

The OECD Forum on Responsible Mineral Supply Chains meets in Paris next month, where members are expected to demand companies identify their cobalt sources. Apple, BMW, Daimler, Renault, and battery maker Samsung SDI have already agreed to publish their supply chain data.

Amnesty says most manufacturing of lithium-ion batteries takes place in China, South Korea and Japan, where electricity generation remains dependent on coal and other fossil fuels. They said makers should disclose the carbon footprint of their products.

Accelerating industry
Electric car ownership is rising fast. The International Energy Agency predicts there will be 125 million in use worldwide by 2030 and potentially double that number if governments step up the pace of legislative change.

Last year, 2.1 million new electric vehicles were sold worldwide. China is the world’s largest electric car market, accounting for 1.2 million - 56% of all electric vehicles sold in 2018. China also accounts for 99% of sales of electric trucks, buses, motorcycles and scooters.

The US came a distant second with 361,000 new electric cars sold in 2018, almost half of which were the new Tesla 3 model. In terms of market share, Norway leads the way - 49% of new cars sold were pure or hybrid electric.

The pressure to go green is increasing as bans on the sale of new fossil-fuelled cars loom in Europe. Germany will stop the sale of all new petrol and diesel cars from 2030, Scotland from 2032, and France and the UK from 2040.

Long road ahead
But the goal of zero-emission driving is still a long way off. Electric cars still only account for 2.4% of global new sales and despite Norway’s stellar sales rate, electric cars still account for only one in eight of vehicles on the road in Oslo.

Sales in other European countries are much lower. In Italy only 0.26% of new sales last year were electric cars, with buyers still preferring diesel over petrol. Even in Spain, which is a major car producer, only 0.5% of new sales were electric.

Electric car batteries damaging to environment: Amnesty International
By Alice Tidey  last updated: 21/03/2019

Amnesty International called out electric car manufacturers on Thursday for producing batteries through unethical and fossil-fuel intensive methods.

The human rights NGO argued that years of unregulated industry practices for the extraction of the minerals used in lithium-ion batteries have led to "detrimental human rights and environmental impacts."

"Finding effective solutions to the climate crisis is an absolute imperative, and electric cars have an important role to play in this," Kumi Naidoo, Amnesty International's Secretary General, said in a statement.

"But without radical changes, the batteries which power green vehicles will continue to be tainted by human rights abuses," he added.

Human rights violations
The NGO said it had documented serious human rights violation linked to the extraction of cobalt in the Democratic Republic of the Congo including child labour and exposure to serious health risks.

It also said that indigenous communities near lithium mines in Argentina are not properly consulted about mining projects on their lands and given insufficient information about the potential impacts it may have on their water sources as mining lithium is water-intensive.

Environmental impacts
Rising demand for minerals needed to produce the batteries has led to a surge in interest in deep-sea mining.

According to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), 29 contracts for the exploration of deep-sea mineral deposits had been granted by the International Seabed Authority by May 2018. The IUCN estimates that commercial mining could start in 2020 in Papua New Guinea's national waters and by 2025 in international waters.

A study by scientists from the University of Exeter concluded last year that deep-sea mining could lead to the release of toxic element and to rapid loss of marine species.

Furthermore, the production of the batteries is currently concentrated in Asian countries including China, South Korea and Japan, where "electricity generation remains dependent on coal and other polluting sources of power," Amnesty noted.

The NGO does however laud the some companies including Apple, BMW, Daimler and Renault for publishing data about their supply chains. It is urging others to do the same and called on the electric vehicle industry to come up with an ethical and clean battery within five years.

Since this thread is about the alleged EV emissions, I was talking about solar PV and battery storage used to charge up an EV for free whilst you are more concerned with the one percentile total failure rates that make up the end of the bell curve in the mean time before failure modes. You really are a true deadbeat LNP supporter that resists change at every step of the way even when the consumer benefits. There is no help for people like you and sockhead :(

Just as well the rest of the world does not take your comments seriously and Warren Buffet has sunk over 8 billion into BYD whilst certainly not taking advice from the likes of LNP moreons in Australia !

Ah yes.

From a practical perspective it is a lifetime ;)

Filthy dirty stinken fossil fool cars !!

Toyota diesel emissions expose broader problem with car pollution in Australia

Problems with diesel particulate filters in top-selling Toyota cars have exposed Australia's 'lagging' vehicle-emissions standards, public health and environmental advocates say.

State and territory environment protection authorities have sent more than 1,200 warning notices to drivers in the past year about their polluting cars, including hundreds of Toyotas with excessive smoke issues.

Last month, the ABC revealed Toyota is being sued as part of a class action over faulty diesel particulate filters (DPFs) in the Hilux, Fortuner and Prado vehicles sold in Australia between October 2015 and July 2019.

Scores of drivers have told the ABC their faulty DPFs cause the cars to spew out smelly white smoke and use more fuel.

Suzanne Harter, a clean energy campaigner for the Australian Conservation Foundation, said Australia needed to tighten standards to stop it from becoming a dumping ground for less-efficient, more-polluting cars.

"Australia is currently lagging behind the rest of the world on vehicle-emissions standards," Ms Harter said.

"I think it speaks to a larger problem in Australia that we need to improve our standards, improve our testing regimes … and make sure the vehicles that are coming into our country are both fuel efficient and are able to protect public health better."

Ms Harter said the lack of standards can put motorists who have recently purchased a vehicle with a failing system in a difficult position.

Toyota drivers hit with notices for smoky vehicles

The DPFs are supposed to trap and burn off diesel particulates, stopping pollutants and particulates from going into the air.

Instead, mechanics and drivers familiar with the Toyota issue said the malfunctioning DPFs are clogging up, causing the excessive smoke and impacting on fuel efficiency.

Some Toyota drivers contacted the ABC after they were hit with notices warning them they could be fined if they didn't stop excessive smoke coming out of their vehicles.

Sydney woman Kyle Kinchela, who runs a hydraulic repair business with her husband, was shocked when she received a notice from the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) in June last year.

Their 2015 Toyota Hilux had excessive smoke issues, and the notice told her to fix her car or face a fine of up to $2,000 — even though her car had just been serviced.

"I obviously knew that it was blowing smoke at that particular time and it was quite bad, but it was not something I expected to receive," she said.

"I called the EPA and I was quite surprised by their response, they stated that they were aware of issues with Toyota vehicles.

"If I did not get the problem seen to within their time frame then they would fine us.

"I called Toyota and tried to get in for a service and I couldn't get an appointment that suited within the EPA's time frame, so I had to get the next best thing and call the EPA for an extension."

The notice reads similar to a speeding fine, with a time, date and place the offending vehicle was spotted by authorities.

"You are advised that if an authorised officer reports your vehicle emitting smoke after Friday, 29 June 2018, a Penalty Notice ranging from $300 to $2,000 can be imposed," the notice said.

"Exhaust emissions from vehicles are the biggest cause of air pollution in urban areas and can cause health problems."

EPAs and police monitoring car emissions
In most states and territories, the EPA or an equivalent department receives and records reports of polluting cars.

The ABC contacted all state and territory authorities to ascertain how many cars are being reported for expelling excess smoke.

A report of a smoky car is at least 10 consecutive seconds of smoke coming out of an exhaust.

The reporting of the issue varies between locations.

Victoria has the most comprehensive data, but does not breakdown the reports into much detail. For example, it does not specify whether the smoke is black or white.

Faulty DPFs are known to cause white smoke, while black smoke is an indicator of other problems.

Title: Re: Electric Car emissions
Post by Sir lastnail on Sep 5th, 2019 at 11:40am

Quote:
Victoria's EPA received 5,271 reports of excessive smoke from vehicles in 2018-19, an increase of 445 reports from the previous year.

Last year, 339 of those reports were for people driving a Toyota Hilux — the most of any car — although the data does not specify if it was white smoke.

Victoria's EPA did not tell the ABC how many notices it sent, warning drivers to fix their cars.

The NSW EPA received 1,963 reports last financial year, an increase of almost 40 per cent, and issued a record number of 834 notices to drivers with smoky vehicles.

NSW did not break the figures down by car model.

The number of smoky vehicle reports in Queensland almost doubled in the past financial year to 3,169 reports, a 45 per cent increase on the previous year.

Western Australia had 454 reports of smoky vehicles and issued 398 notices to drivers.

In the ACT, there were 38 complaints about smoky vehicles last financial year, up from 21 complaints in the previous year.

There was no data available from South Australia and the Northern Territory, and Tasmania had fewer than 10 reports.

Adelaide driver Mike Stone was given a defect notice by South Australian police in November 2017 for excessive smoke coming out of his Hilux.

He has been back to the Toyota dealership four times to have the issue fixed.

"The first time was after receiving a defect warning from SAPOL [police] after leaving a smoke trail up the southern expressway," he said.

"This so-called fix lasted about five months before heading back to the dealership again."

Mr Stone said his fuel economy fluctuates and his car regularly leaves a big cloud of smoke when he takes off at the lights.

The ABC asked Toyota to comment on the notices sent to drivers, and the issue of emissions.

"We encourage any Toyota owners with questions or concerns about their DPF to contact their closest or preferred Toyota dealer," it said in a statement.

"Alternatively, customers can find out more via a comprehensive DPF FAQ on the Toyota website.

"We are unable to comment on matters before the courts but reiterate our commitment, as always, to helping our customers with any questions or concerns they have about their vehicle."

Excessive diesel emissions 'harmful' to health
Dr Vicki Kotsirilos from Doctors for the Environment said there was "no safe level" for diesel pollutants, and any cars expelling higher than normal emissions were of major concern.

"Diesel emissions are particularly toxic chemicals that are released into the air," Dr Kotsirilos told the ABC.

"When we inhale these chemicals, they can irritate the nasal passages, cause allergies and irritations, they can cause lung disease, trigger asthma in people who have asthma."

Dr Kotsirilos said all vehicle emissions are harmful, but diesel emissions are worse.

"They are a class one carcinogen that can cause lung cancer and can contribute to heart and lung disease," she said.

"Vehicles that rely on diesel, that don't have proper filters, are more likely to emit diesel particulates into the air, and this would contribute to part of the air pollution problem."

Dr Kotsirilos said the emissions are most harmful to people who live, work or attend school or child care near pollution "hotspots" like busy roads or intersections.

Australia has the "Euro 5" vehicle emissions standard, which limits the amount of noxious pollutants cars can emit.

However, Europe and most developed nations have tightened emissions standards to comply with what's called Euro 6, or the more-stringent Euro 6d.

"When the Euro 5 was put in place, the diesel filters were part of that requirement," the ACF's Suzanne Harter said.

"Those filters are required for a really important reason, and that is to protect public health.

"If those filters aren't working as they should, that means that there could be greater health impacts that we would want to accept from those vehicles."

Dozens of drivers have told the ABC the faulty Toyota filters cause excessive smoke and impact fuel efficiency by up to 30 per cent.

That means more particulates are going into the air, and more CO2 is being produced because more fuel is being used.

No progress on vehicle emissions standards
Progress on changing car emissions and efficiency standards in Australia has stalled.

A range of issues are at stake, including the accuracy of emissions testing, which is performed in a laboratory before a car is sold to market.

Bodies such as the Australian Automobile Association (AAA) have argued for real-world testing, which would see cars driven over a 90km loop in a range of conditions to more accurately estimate a car's emissions.

There is no follow-up testing once a car is on the road, even if parts designed to comply with emissions allegedly fail to do the job.

Title: Re: Electric Car emissions
Post by Sir lastnail on Sep 5th, 2019 at 11:43am

Quote:
A ministerial forum set up in 2015 has failed to progress Australia's emissions levels.

Ms Harter said as a result, Australia has become an "outlier" in the vehicles market.

"Some of the vehicles that are sold here are actually less efficient or more polluting than that same vehicle that would be sold overseas," she said.

Michael Bradley from the Australian Automobile Association would not comment on Toyota's DPF problems, but said the AAA has been supportive of a tighter emissions standards for years.

"The AAA has called for a comprehensive package of measures which address fuel standards, CO2 standards, noxious-emissions standards and real-world testing. These issues are intertwined and have to be addressed in one package," he said.

A spokeswoman for Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development Michael McCormack responded to the ABC's request for an interview in a statement.

"The Liberal and Nationals Government is currently considering the case for introducing the latest international noxious-emission standards for light and heavy vehicles [Euro 6d and Euro VI respectively], but has not made a decision on how or when these standards may be implemented and will continue to consult with stakeholders," she said.

"The Government is committed to developing a sensible framework that places savings for motorists and health benefits for the community front and centre, while ensuring that the vehicles that Australians value remain in the market."

Toyota hybrids have completely turned practical Australians totally off the useless dangerous unsafe pollution spewing very inconvenient electric toy cars for good.

Who wants to get incinerated by an exploding lithium fire bomb battery ?

Useless electric toy cars can't even tow a shopping trolley without the battery overheating and potentially exploding.

Tesla toy cars are downright dangerous as the suspension breaks and a wheel falls off and the car crashes. And these piles of junk spontaneously accelerate into walls and things.

And Toyota is using the hybrid cars as a test bed for the ultimate hydrogen cars and trucks and heavy machinery without even a whiff of pollution.

Soon the useless electric toy cars will be just a memory in the junk yards just like 200 years ago.

Unsafe Tesla S crashes after a whompy wheel falls off when the faulty suspension breaks.   This doesn't happen with safe Toyota hybrids.

Isn't that an issue with Teslas and not electric cars per se.

They repeatedly target Tesla here because they are the only EV's that are being sold in numbers in Australia.

There are plenty of fossil fool lemons with inherent design faults causing accidents but not one word out of them on these and why is that ? Simply because an EV bypasses the fossil fool supply chain and that means doing their oily mates out of some money !!

You can sum a Greeny up in 2 words - dumb and ignorant and the creepy loony Scunge is a Greeny.

BH always has trouble digesting the FACTS without getting indigestion.  You have to fill in every tiny detail for him as he seems unable to bridge any gap no matter how small.

Yes BH Teslas are downright dangerous and unsafe as the suspension is far too weak and has already broken many times on the road resulting in crashes. Extremely dangerous at freeway speeds.

But all electric toy cars are pollution spewing as they load up the coal power stations.

Any electric toy car that uses a lithium fire bomb battery is decidedly hazardous.

No electric toy car can tow anything without overheating the battery with the risk it will explode in a fiery inferno.

And if the fire does not incinerate you then the poisonous gases given off by the burning battery certainly will kill you.

Now the glorious Hydrogen Energy Revolution has none of these problems and unlike the puny hazardous electric batteries Hydrogen can power all sizes of machinery - cars, trucks, large industrial machinery etc with no pollution at all and quick refuel.

The perfect replacement for diesel and petrol.

Safe pollution free Hydrogen buses are already operating in London.
