Title: 875 Churches in France were vandalised last year..

Thugs set fire to churches and smear poo on walls amid warnings France’s Christian heritage is under attack from ‘militant secularism’

Figures show 875 churches in France were vandalised last year

Recent incidents have included a fire in Saint-Sulpice church in Paris, human poo daubed on a wall in Notre-Dame-des-Enfacts in Nimes, and an organ vandalised at Saint-Denis basilica outside Paris.

Some politicians have claimed the country’s Christian heritage is under threat from petty criminals encouraged by “militant secularism”.

Figures released by French police showed that 875 of France’s 42,258 churches were vandalised last year.

A further 129 churches reported thefts from the premises.

The interior ministry said that 59 cemeteries were also vandalised.

While the figures are down on the previous year when there were 1,045 acts of vandalism and 109 thefts they are still at a “worrying level”, according to Le Figaro.

Republicans MP Valerie Boyer said: “Every day, at least two churches are profaned.”

Critics of Prime Minister Edouard Philippe’s government have said it is not doing enough to stop the problem.

Following the fire at Saint-Sulpice, which cops say was started deliberately, the leader of the Republicans Laurent Wauquiez said the media had failed to give the issue more prominence.

He said: “Saint-Sulpice is not only a church, it’s a part of who we are. That’s enough of this code of silence.”

Opposition MPs Annie Genevard and Philippe Gosselin have called for a parliamentary investigation into anti-Christian acts in France.

Bishops have tended to play down the extent of the vandalism, with some pointing out that their problems are less severe than those of French Jews who have suffered from a rise in antisemitisim in recent months.

Historian Francois Huguenin, said that while only about five percent of French people were practising Catholics, the church still remained the depository of social markers. It is therefore more difficult for [Christians] to express indignation than it is for other communities”.

I wonder who these “militant secularisms" are.  :-/

I wonder why there's a "code of silence" around these issues in the media?  :-/

I'm growing increasingly suspicious

because I remember one of the hallmarks of izrayli attacks on Palestinian schools, homes, etc. was to take a giant dump on desks or kitchen counters, in addition to smearing excreta

sub humans

Yes, I'm definitely suspicious of the culprits in France

old habits die hard

or as FBI profilers would call them 'signatures' at the scene of the crime

Quote:
Entering the building after its month-long occupation by an Israeli military unit, ministry officials, foreign cultural attaches, and reporters found a scene of grotesque vandalism.

Equipment from the local radio and television station had been hurled from windows in the multi-story building, electronic equipment was destroyed or had been stolen, furniture was broken and piled up on heaps of papers, books, computer disks, and broken glass. Children's paintings had been destroyed

And then there was this, as described by Hass:

"There are two toilets on every floor, but the (izrayli) soldiers urinated and defecated everywhere else in the building, in several rooms of which they had lived for about a month.

They did their business on the floors, in emptied flowerpots, even in drawers they had pulled out of desks.

They defecated into plastic bags, and these were scattered in several places. Some of them had burst.

Someone even managed to defecate into a photocopier.

The soldiers urinated into empty mineral water bottles. These were scattered by the dozen in all the rooms of the building, in cardboard boxes, among the piles of rubbish and rubble, on desks, under desks, next to the furniture the soldiers had smashed, among the children's books that had been thrown down. Some of the bottles had opened and the yellow liquid had spilled and left its stain.

"It was especially difficult to enter two floors of the building because of the pungent stench of feces and urine. Soiled toilet paper was also scattered everywhere.

In some of the rooms, not far from the heaps of feces and the toilet paper, remains of rotting food were scattered.

In one corner, in the room in which someone had defecated into a drawer, full cartons of fruits and vegetables had been left behind.

The toilets were left overflowing with bottles filled with urine, feces and toilet paper.

Relative to other places, the soldiers did not leave behind them many sayings scrawled on the walls.

Here and there were the candelabrum symbols of Israel, stars of David, praises for the Jerusalem Betar soccer team
."

Meanwhile ...

Jerusalem's revered Al-Asqa Mosque was struck by blaze that broke out the same time Notre Dame was devastated by inferno

A fire broke out on the compound of Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem on Monday, just as a huge blaze ripped through the Notre Dame cathedral 2000 miles away in Paris.

Smoke and fire was seen billowing from the roof of the Marwani Prayer Hall - also known as Solomon's Stables, located at the bottom of stairs which lead down from the revered Al-Aqsa Mosque.

'The fire broke out in the guard's room outside the roof of the Marwani Prayer Room, and the fire brigade of the Islamic Waqf handled the matter successfully,' the Palestine News Agency said on Monday.

Footage posted on social media shows people gathering in the courtyard of the Marwani room, where Palestinian Muslims hold Friday prayers, emits large plumes of smoke.

The room is located under the southeastern corner of the Temple Mount, or Haram al-Sharif compound in the Old City part of East Jerusalem.

A venerated site in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam alike, it houses both the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the gold-capped Dome of the Rock - Islam's third-holiest shrine, built on the site of biblical Jewish temples.

Monday's fire was contained quickly with no reported injuries or interior damage to the 2000-year-old building.

You could have CCTV footage and a signed confession,,, the authorities in France would never admit if this was a muslim terror attack.

Even if it was just a thoughtlessly discarded cigarette butt - an unfortunate accident?

What if it was a shorted out temporary electrical power board used for the renovation work?

I dunno.
Since they were working next to 800 year old bone dry timber -
you'd think that many firemen with water hoses would have been
in every part of that roof 24 hours a day -
they sound like imbeciles to me
who never did a safety review.

Someone should be hanged for criminal negligence.

875 Churches and the Notre Dame Cathedral, eh.

Well what's that tell you>?

It's saying that Christianity is at an end in oppressing Europe, from the Middle-East... in the hands of Men.

Already the Germans have 'broken their Cross' (swastika) and moved away from the Political/Military empowerment for their country in favor of more 'european' pursuits like Music for starters.

Very soon, if not already started (In this Year of Living Dangerously) already - France will soon have to forfeit their Religious/Political/Military empowerment in favor of more European style.
After will be Italy's turn and finally Great Britain itself (by which time both Islam & Israel will have 'united').

2000+ years of Religious oppression of true Europe will come to an end, in the hands of Men (not women).

Time to return what has come from the Middle-East (Religion) - Christianity.

The 'loophole' is that Religion only succeeded mostly with Western (Celtic) and Eastern (Slavic) Europeans - more than it did with Northern (Skandi) and Southern (Latin) Europeans - as East and West Europeans branch out into Australia (Sahul) and North America, where it does kick on.
It doesn't kick on in Europe and Oceania.

...in fact Religion/Politics/Military only kick on in N.America, S.America, Sahul (Aust, etc) and the Middle-East.

...not so for Europe, Africa, Asia & Oceania - where it stays in the 'past'.

Any chipmunk would be OK !!!      ....just so long as it wasn't identified as being a     moslem     chipmunk.

Because everyone knows,      that moslem chipmunks don't light fires in Christian churches.

It is against their religion, to do such a thing.
