More eggs have been recalled from Victorian and New South Wales supermarkets amid fears of salmonella contamination.

Customers are being urged not to eat Synergy Produce's Southern Highland Organic Eggs sold at Woolworths in both states, IGA in NSW and other independent NSW retailers.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission issued the recall today for 12 and six-egg cartons of the brand with best before dates up to and including May 9.

The ex eats eggs for brekker every day - we get them from a local free range farm... I'll let you know if she collapses....

I get mine (2 Doz) from a regional Farm that has its Poultry out on the paddocks practically wild to roam for want of returning to their 'caravans' that are moved around once a week to a different area to feed. They share the paddocks with Llama's, Alpacas, Kangaroos, Emus, Horses, Cows and trained Dogs that patrol the paddocks for Foxes and other predatory vermin. The eggs are highly sought over by many customers and we all pay top dollar $42 per Doz.

But having worked in the 'Artificial' Mass Production Poultry Industry, I know a good egg when I eat one (daily).
