I predicted the result correctly - A win for one of the major parties with the minor parties taking votes from them

Congratulations on your new stadium (chortle, chortle, chortle) No, honestly, congratulations to Glad, she ran a relatively smear free campaign and the voters preferred to stick with a known Government. I think the only downer in the whole affair was the dreadful Morrison taking the stage at the congratulatory knees up. He should have just let the State Party take the glory rather than trying to make it a federal win.
Enjoy your continuing fire sales though. |

It is funny that how often when the people are given two bad options they choose the worst.
Sad outcome for NSW Mrs Alphabet needed to be moved on badly. Stupid labor going after stadiums but showing no other policy position. Stadiums should have been the icing on the cake not the whole cake - just dumb politics. At least the stupid adds and more stupid phone calls will stop. I hung up on all of them. |

A tragic day for NSW - no end in sight to the blatant theft by 'privatisation', the ';out-sourcing' to mates at lucrative rates (mate's rates), the expansion of the 'global economy' insanity that is devouring nations, the incompetence that causes train carriages too wide, the endless rises in costs of living and the consequent upward pressure on wages, and the ditch-by-ditch battle by the employers to chop wages at a time of escalating costs of living, and the onward march to eventual popular revolt.
As for Labor - told them they need to get off the ideological band wagons they inhabit and get back to core business...... Dump feminism, dump Indigenism, dump Ethnicism, and get down and dirty with your sleeves rolled up for the working man.... get some solid infrastructure planning upfront for the public and show them where this nation can go forward instead of deeper and deeper into the mud-filled rut it's been driven into and in which it is now hopelessly bogged. NEW PARTY - NOW!! |

Yes, he was on the stage taking the glory. All Federal parties are intent on divorcing themselves from State Politics when it goes bad, but when it goes good, you can't keep them away. I wish her and her Government well, not being a new south welshperson, I really have no idea how things run up there, but I congratulate her on actually increasing her seats by two (I think). She must be doing something right, or Labor are still on the nose up there! |

Why is there any importance attached to the fact that Glad is a woman and from fore3ign extraction?
Haven't seen much good coming from those groups for a long while yet... just a lot of self-serving using our political system, and fitting it into their ancient system of lords/masters. |

Labor are still on the nose... been telling them that for years now, but they don't listen.
Politics of division and of exclusion are not working. While you're at it - dump Gayism too.... and get on with the job... Could be an underlying vote against Bro bill - Mr Innocuous Limp Lettuce Leaf... But overall the voting public must be dumb to keep either LNP or Labor on... I didn't. Right - next election I will have a party on the books.... wait for the bun fight... |

Mike Daley performed like a dumb arse at the Leaders showdown at Panthers club during the week he lost the debate hands down and Gladys Berejiklian was allowed to shine
He lost the election right there and then He had no clue what his budget was for TAFE and quoted 3 billion which brought the house down with laugter Made him look like a bum and for those voters wavering, he was sh.tcanned from that point on Now we are saddled with this Government that made electricity prices rise by 60% after they privatised the grid **For the record don't blame me I voted Labor** |

Actually it's the opposite - you're the one unnecessarily crowing that she's a woman* - I merely asked the question... WHY is that so important if we are all supposedly 'equal'? Some more equal than others? *nobody's 100% certain about that - shows few 'womanly' traits.... Try again - why is it such a big deal that's Gladys is a woman? Can she do the job? After 16 years of NSW Labor building bugger-all, Daley comes along and promises to cancel one metro project and divert another, cancel two road projects and meddle with the light rail.
He proposes a tax on top of a tax on top of the GST for "luxury" cars, mumbles something about negative gearing and tried to bag the Liberals on school funding when it was the Liberals building schools after Labor closed them. Then he appears on a televised debate and messes up his costing on headline policies. And to top it all off, when he gets caught out complaining about "Asians taking our jobs", he doesn't apologise but claims he was taken out of context. About the only thing he got right was telling Alan Jones to piss off, and capitalising on anger about the stadiums. |
