I saw a short doco on Flinder's Cat. It's a worthy 'statue' that reflects a good story, etc.

Now lets remember: Only British & Aboriginal Culture is allowed to exist in this part of the world, besides a sense of Americanised Colonialism trying to pass itself off as 'Aussie'.

Any 'true' and modern Australian culture reflecting the future of this country and not the past will be deemed Racist, Criminal, Invasive by Americans, British and Aboriginals.

The sailing ship would be a very hazardous place for a cat.
Apparently it would catch rats on the ship so it was allowed
free run of the place.

I had a cat once and it was my best mate.
That cat really loved me.
It used to sleep on my bed every night except in summer.
It's purrs used to send me to sleep.
I cried when it died.
She lived till 18 years of age!

our delusional cats love to kill for fun.... domestic cats kill millions of animals a year and they r well feed... There have been feral cats that have been killed and their stomach opened and they have over 20 different bits of animal in them, because after every kill they just take a bite...

well I only go by my own....I am not responsible for feral cats.....and what about cane toads....who poison anything and everything? and are spreading at a rapid rate to every state....my cats sleep 22 hours a day...and have been desexed since 2 months

people today are far more responsible than they were years back... and ferals would have their own  predators out there...

I read where they are going to poison the rabbits again.... ::) ::)

I've read that Wiki a bit more now.  That trip he went on as negotiator and interpreter was not the circumnavigation.  It was to local coastal areas around Sydney.  Re the circumnavigation:

YOU were the one who said I made ONE decent comment.  I replied that One (decent) comment by me is twice as many (decent) comments than you've made. Since I was replying to your comment where you already specified that you were talking about 'decent' comments, I did not need to spell it out again, it was implied. That's how English works.
