Link.

That same arsehole copper would be among those demanding for mandatory imprisonment for anyone who assaults a copper doing his job.  Okay.  I'll go with that.....Will the cops also accept mandatory imprisonment for anyone of them when they unlawfully assault another while doing their cop job?

Pricks.

PS...please note how several of them must have conspired to hide the fact that the bloke's injuries were sustained in the assault by claiming the dude must have fallen in his Cell.

Came from Iran 18 months ago in hope of better life for himself and his family

Conducted a citizen's arrest on Abo kid for stealing

Was mobbed, bashed and store trashed and robbed by the Abo kid's 'fam'

My family ran a general store in the South Burnett years ago.  Abo family squatting next door broke into the store rooms regularly but we let it go because their mother was a drunken tramp who'd bestowed upon her kids a wide variety of anonymous fathers of varying tint.  And she didn't feed them (or do anything else for them apart from send them begging to the pub for something for her to drink)

But in Murgon, which was a prosperous and well-maintained town then, the storekeepers were less tolerant

In the local news was a smallish item about the deaths of two Abo boys in their early teens.  They'd been breaking into a shop on regular basis, smashing windows to get into the lower level.  The store-keeper was tired of it so waited inside the basement area and shot those kids as they climbed through his window.  Police made a note of it as they were required to do and that was the end of it.  Everyone approved.  It was not an unusual event.  And the endless thefts of other people's property calmed down for a bit

The store-keeper had warned them several times as to what he'd do if they didn't cut it out.  They'd said yes boss, we won't do it any more.  They said that a few times.  At least the store-keeper kept his side of the bargain

No one cried.  Their mothers had endless kids and could always have more, all funded by the People

What's good for the goose is good for the gander. If you live by the sword, you might die by the sword.

All in all, take the power out the hands of those useless judges. Mandatory sentences are the only deterrent. If they knew what punishments were waiting for them they might think twice. That goes for the criminals too!

Oh I think he was special needs alright, you went into detail about picking up special needs kids and when a soft drink bottle hit your cab you were dealing with special needs kids, cos you yelled out "which retard", (you charmer)  before going on to assault one of a group of retards.

It's a level of detail superfluous if you were not dealing with, in your words retard or why you would demand "which retard"?

It is plain you are walking back an unflattering statement about yourself, hell listen to some of your later expositions about neutralising a threat where you are trying to paint yourself as a cab driving hero citizen defending society from an out of control thug. It's laughable.

What you did was stupid, defending it even stupider.

Actually thinking about it, defending it came quite a bit later, you spent a lot of time quibbling that you had even pinned anyone using your  "big hands".  That stopped pretty quickly when the post was found, maybe you should have just done a Gregg, delete the post then demand it be presented.   8-)

You want the truth about coppers?

O.K. then in my career overwhelming majority of coppers I've met absolutely abhor wanton violence against suspects, offenders etc unless there are overwhelming reasons to the contrary

There are times that fall outside of the rules. Like when I was in the job and we pulled over a stolen vehicle. We alighted and approached the kerbed car when the driver suddenly put it in reverse and tried  to run me down

Well I can tell you, things didn't go well for that f.....r from that point on

Like  I say, it depends very much on what you encounter. Like turning up to a domestic where a team of sh.t were living next to a decent immigrant German family. The arch bitch head
of the team of sh.t had assaulted the German lady so badly she had ripped out her hair by the roots
The German family had done nothing to them, except be unfortunate to be their neighbours
It didn't take long to nut out that arch  bitch was responsible so I arrested her. Then the whole family turned it on to my partner and I

Fortunately we had the truck, so I was able to cram the whole bunch of those arseholes in the cage and in the end..arrested the whole family. Had  a little word in arch bitch's ear as she left court with her papers. Told her if we had to come back again to rescue the German family again then next time I would ensure she went 'inside'

There were no reoccurrences. Stick and carrot...see

Just depends what you get drawn into and  how 'it goes down'

But sometimes there are cases where coppers have no choice but to get physical. If they turn it on first then you return serve. If some arsehole king hits you then things are unlikely to go well for that person

Each incident is different and   you need to think on your feet as a cop. You need to know when to go gently as a cop and when you need to step it up.  It is no 'Sunday Picnic being a cop and above all you need good judgement

Not saying the offenders were brown, although it looks as if they were, simply because if they were white, charges would have been pressed and those kids would have been grabbed by Child Protection along with, most likely, photos and other details in the media of at least the parents

LINK

ABC being so careful not to identify these problem kids and families because not PC

But what can be done about the situation?  Treating the little vandals and useless parents with kid gloves isn't working.  Throwing taxpayers' money at the situation hasn't worked.  Appeals to reason hasn't worked.  Spending a fortune on educating them to become members of civilised society hasn't worked

Who'd bother running a business when the little head-cases know they're basically untouchable?  Hard enough to earn a living

So what happens?  Palmerston turns into a no-go ghost-town which would soon be vandalised and burnt to the ground?

What about those who've invested their life's earnings into a home in Palmerston?  Who'd live there?  So you'd be forced to sell a great loss, not to mention investing in triple security until you could sell, if you ever could

I'd call anyone who did that a retard, just like I and Setanta have called people 'retards' here.  Does that make them 'special needs' people or just retards in the colloquial sense?

I was no hero defending society.  I was defending little ol' me, as I was attacked.  There was no out of control thug attacking me.  There was a cheap shot punk thug who was dealt with appropriately both by me and the High School.

Quote:

I'd do exactly the same anytime the same circumstances arose.  The 'kid' was not special needs.  I said I was there to pick up special needs kids.  He was not one of them.  The High School is a very large general population High School which had a facility for special needs kids to be there like everyone else.

You got anything to say which is on topic?

Harold Frederick Shipman was an English general practitioner and one of the most prolific serial killers in history. On 31 January 2000, a jury found Shipman guilty of 15 murders of patients under his care. He was sentenced to life imprisonment with the recommendation that he never be released.

Quite right cods.  But you jump in when anyone raises the pinning matter on any old Thread.  In what was described by AB1234, two kids in their young teens were shot by a shopkeeper who caught them damaging his property and stealing his stuff.

And you whinge about a thug who was merely pushed back to a tree and held there 'pinned' till I got what I wanted, and then released.....unshot or in any way hit.  You wail about how dare I manhandle the punk brat thug arsehole who was the son of a Mother etc etc etc.

No hypocrisy on display there at all cods, ey cods?  Those shot young kids were the sons of their Mothers, acting unlawfully.  Not even a murmur from you.

Harold Frederick Shipman was an English general practitioner and one of the most prolific serial killers in history. On 31 January 2000, a jury found Shipman guilty of 15 murders of patients under his care. He was sentenced to life imprisonment with the recommendation that he never be released.

he hung himself so no chance...

but you do see he was a practicing medical doctor....and he killed many many more than he was charged with.....in fact hes up there at the top of the list in England...

you may not have heard of John Christie he killed mostly prostitutes

but he also killed another mans wife  and his child....... and the husband was found guilty of both  murders and was hanged.....

I'll keep talking to you then as I have not twisted your words at all.  Why are you not absolutely outraged out of your skin that two young Queensland teens acting unlawfully were actually SHOT by a shopkeeper whose property the kids had damaged and who stuff they were intending to steal.

Is it only for a High School student who assaulted me and damaged my property and was merely marched back to a nearby tree and pinned to it while I had my say and got what I wanted that you will get all hysterical about, the thug being the Son of a Mother on property outside the Family property?

'Makes sense only to cods.'

Indeed, appalling.  There is an existing Thread on it.

Cops who do that while on duty ought to be subject to mandatory imprisonment, just like they want if some thug assaults them when they are on duty.

Getting back to the OP ... I closely watched the cctv video of this so called assault by the Police Officer.

Ask yourself why this bloke had no  shirt and his pants down around his ankles?

You can see he was being belligerent but if you look closely in one shot ..... it appears that there is something on the floor ....

and my first impression was that it was poo.

Did this so called disability pensioner drop his daks and crap on the floor?

If so he deserved the manhandling.

The kids were climbing through windows above their head height .....

one was on the others shoulders

the shop keeper saw one blokes silhouette in the dark but not the other ...

fired at what he thought was near the silhouette and shot the other.

You speculating that houses in the area don't have basements is an irrelevance.

The eldest bloke is on the NDIS and it has been a tremendous help ... I doubt he would be at mainstream school otherwise .... but late last year it looked like they weren't going to allow him anymore funding ... you know like having a teachers aid handy(there are other kids on the spectrum at his school) and purchasing sensory enhancing equipment etc. .. yeah and specialist access assistance.

He also has a hearing impediment & wears glasses.

Luckily he is high functioning.

The little bloke is 18 months old & a right Tornado ... not talking like his younger first cousin. She is saying a few words now.

He's been in the wars though .... just before xmas he dropped a 6kg ball kettle weight on his left little finger on the end joint smashing/splitting it open & splitting the bone .... had to have surgery.

Yesterday he took a tumble down some cement stairs at the Pediatricians cause Dad wasn't quick enough.

Lumps & bruises on head & fat lip but nothing fazes him or slows him down.  :)

Correct.
My daughter has been diagnosed autistic. It is not as simple as just saying "they're autistic". As you say, psychologists,  paediatricians, have to assess them. Anyone can be referred,  whether you're diagnosed is another story. I'm sure the paeds and psychologists have seen it all. They're not idiots.

There is an increase in people seeking to register as Autistic - just to 'cash in' on the ever increasing Medical Bleeding Hearts Scam of disability payments, benefits and more.

no pet only specialists can diagnose Autism  to get in to Ndis   takes a lot of doing...take it from one who knows.

Yes .. I have a 9 year old grandson who is on the spectrum and he now has a younger brother(18mths old) who is showing all signs that he will be also.

It took a lot of time, paediatrician & psychologist visits to get a diagnosis and then a lengthy waiting period for the application to be processed and accepted.

No one just "registers".

thats tough for you all gnads... but the boy I know is now on NDIS and the treatment has made a world of difference...

I dont think it should be easy to get into the system by any means.....I would rather the money goes to making a huge difference...and if that means waiting so be it..kids wrongly medicated can get worse...

how I feel for mum and dad...and of course the little tyke  he must be in so much pain.. poor little man   my granddaughter who has the autistic son..was a huge handful as a child... I put it down to the way she was brought up but a nightmare to take to the shops would just take off with no fear...when sitting her in the trolly things would just fly off the shelves....at home jumping from on e piece of furniture to another was her fav game.....never still   she was exhausting  but I was the only one who was able to control her   for the simple reason  I wouldnt put up with it....it is hard work and you have to be very patient ..[i must have been in those days] lots of rewards when they do the right thing.....[cuddles and praise]she was never diagnosed  and once she knew what she couldnt do and I stood by it.. she was fine........no learning probs.. so just think she was born wild and needed to be tamed...lol....her son has speech therapy and is in a special class. hes 9....I didnt know they can stop NDIS  at any time....thats a worry!

Farcough ... I would have to ask the bloke who told me yesterday to recount it precisely as he can & write it down.

He was a Paint Sales rep for Earles Paints who traveled the whole district and Sth & Nth Burnett.

I may ask him if he would write his recollections of it out for me..... no guarantees.

Where is my royalty cheque?

Yes, ask him.  I have sources in that area and I will check it out.

He's writing me out his recollection and it happened in Wondai - in the 80's - local shop keeper named Schulz - the boys were from Cherbourg(3miles from Murgon).

btw I couldn't give a rats arse about your sources ... I've been here 46 years & the bloke in question all his life & he's late 60's nearly 70.

Travelled for Earles paints for over 30 years. Biggenden, Gayndah, Goomeri, Kilkivan, Tansey, Proston, Murgon, Wondai, Kingaroy, Mundubbera, Eidsvold & Monto.

Wouldn't be the first time - did they then get up in court and say he 'was unemployed' - implying he was a low-life, a bludger and had no rights anyway... rather than a disabled pensioner?

::)  they shoot 'em in Glen Innes for that kind of thing...... don't laugh....

Cops shouldn't be out there assaulting disability pensioners and doctors of medicine.

Why don't they assault some of the members of the Sudanese crime gangs instead?

The cops need to be told who to bash up - they haven't worked it out yet.

Sorry blokes but as I said in one of my previous responses ...........

why were his pants around his ankles & why did it look like he'd crapped on the floor?

If he did that ... then he deserved what he got.

If you watched the video, you will have seen that he was directed to remove his belt, and it is his blood which is on the floor.
