Title: Forum Statistics
Post by .JaSin. on Jan 13th, 2019 at 6:14pm
Is there a way to highlight the Statistical performance of...

Number of Posts Members make each day.
Number of Topics Members make each day.
...each day, carrying into each week, each month, each year.

So who would have posted the most last year?
Started the most Topics last year?
Started the most Popular Topics last year?

I'm just a saying as Cricket is a bit lame this past decade and we need some sort of 'statistical' interest.

I had some kind of obsessive-compulsive desire to post for the sake of increasing my post per day count. Then I started to see that I was just wasting time venting my thoughts or just countering arguments with people who had already made up their minds. I just post whenever I feel like responding. Statistics are meaningless unless they are used as a reason to point out people's use of time.

I'm just a Stats lover.
Even when I worked in Medical Industry, I loved people saying "Stat!"  :D
I like Cricket and Gridiron for their 'statistical' empowerment of their sport.

I'm curious to see a line graph or more of when Members 'peak' and in what topic they 'peak' the most, etc.

I think it would be interesting.
This Forum could be a major asset to the understanding of human behaviour.

The Fawlty Towers episode "The Psychiatrist" immediately comes to mind.

Quote:
In the morning, Basil explains to Sybil that he was looking in the window because he wanted to catch the extra guest in Johnson's room. She doesn't believe him, but, determined to prove himself right, Basil hides in a broom closet to catch the guest. He hears laughter coming from Johnson's room, and when he hears a door open, emerges with a broom in hand exclaiming "the game's up!" Basil discovers it's the Abbots in the hall and tries to explain the broom as the means to clean up something stuck on the ceiling. The Abbots descend downstairs with the husband making a professional remark on Basil's behavior "there's enough material there for an entire conference."
