Title: New Bill Does Nothing To End Super Theft Post by whiteknight on Dec 7th, 2018 at 8:10am
New bill will do nothing to end theft of Superannuation :(
6 December 2018 The Morrison Government’s new Treasury Laws Amendment (Measures No.4) Bill 2018 will do nothing to end systemic theft of superannuation or improve recovery mechanisms for working people. :( We need a systemic response to a systemic problem, and to completely change the way that working people go about claiming back unpaid super – ensuring that everyone has access to an affordable, effective and efficient system. This bill, and the Morrison Government’s continuing commitment to an amnesty on super theft reaching back to the dawn of the universal superannuation system shows that they have no desire to help working people and are entirely invested in finding the best possible solution for big business. Quotes attributable to ACTU Assistant Secretary Scott Connolly: “Super should be paid to all workers on every dollar they earn, to the lowest paid casual workers and to workers on parental leave. Companies who steal from workers should be held fully accountable. “Super theft is systemic and has gone entirely unchecked by the Abbott/Turnbull/Morrison Government. Now that they are being dragged, kicking and screaming, to action on super theft they are attempting to do the bare minimum and protect the interests of the businesses which have been engaging in this criminal activity. “Superannuation is an industrial right and workers should be able to deal with theft within the industrial relations system. “We need systemic change to deal with this issue. We need new enforcement mechanisms, better access for unions to check pay slips and ensure that businesses are doing the right thing, simple procedures for people who need to claim money back, and impose real penalties on employers.” |

The good old inane boring tedious union propaganda parrot BlackDay is oblivious to the fact that the slimy unions HAVE BEEN PILFERING INDUSTRIAL SUPER FOR YEARS.
Perhaps GetUp! didn't tell him. Now even the rather slow uninformed BlackDay might know. Really GetUp! should have warned him. And the union controlled Labor Party's plot to ROB the RETIREES is to try to force them onto Industrial Super so the unions can pilfer their money too. And hasn't silly Billy stepped right into Labor's Pool of Poo when he announced publicly in Parliament that Labor+Greenies will DEFINITELY RESTART the BOATS. And hasn't ScoMo had a riot rubbishing Labor+Greenies' plot to increase electricity prices by 5 to 6 times with their idiotic Carbon Tax and idiotic insane technically unachievable 50% renewable rubbish which just doesn't work. And ScoMo has effortlessly reduced house prices without touching neg gearing and capital gains. And ScoMo points to how well the economy is going - a REAL ELECTION WINNER. Gosh ScoMo has a pile of dirt he can't see over to hurl at Silly Billy crushing Labor+Greenies before the election. |

Greggy in his second childhood is having a giggle fantasizing about his yucky Greeny puppet HERO who has the charisma of roadkill.
bobby is confused - I mean the union bosses who rely on pilfering industrial super as they have hardly any members anymore. The unions don't give a damn about the workers anymore who aren't members anyway. How times have changed, yet the Lefties on the DARK SIDE keep on living in the DARK AGES fantasizing that nothing has changed. And that extremist Commo Socialist Feminazi sheila keeps carrying on as tho she is still in the long gone Tariff Wall days. |

So even with all the supposed thieving you say is going on in Industry super funds, they still outperform retail funds. I wonder why that is. https://www.canstar.com.au/superannuation/industry-vs-retail/ |
