Something's afoot. Govt Speakers are speaking very slowly and the Opposition is very quiet. No warnings...no 94A ejections.

Is Futility in search of Failure really in a Nursing Home ?
ScoMo is wiping the floor today with scungy little Shorty. Libs are slamming Labor by exposing their traitorous treasonous Greenies' plan to RESTART the BOATS!!! The lameduck Phelpsy is chortling with glee over the totally irrelevant Nauru. She reckons you can run the country with Gay marriage and Global Warming and Greenie minority misogny rubbish. Labor's pretend "treasurer" is awkward and boring and just prattling childish rubbish just like failure Swanny. |

An interesting double act happening at the moment...
Two pieces of legislation trying to be passed - on the one hand the government is desparately fillibustering the proposed ammendment to the migration act that would bring sick people from Nauru - so it won't reach the lower house. On the other hand the government desparately want their encryption legislation passed. So they have to hang around for that - and yet they do so running the risk that this will enable the migration bill to reach the lower house. Its pretty farcical at the moment - even by the standards of this parliament. |

In countries where illegal aliens are euphemistically called "immigrants," the open-border crowd always end up playing the sick-child card.

It is not illegal to seek asylum. It is illegal to overstay a visa or work on a tourist visa. The government protects these illegal immigrants by turning a blind eye to them. Otherwise the Nats would kick up a stink. |

Morrison should get tips from Gillard on how to manage minority government. She managed it for three years. Morrison didn't last a week before it started falling apart. He needs the crossbench to pass legislation that Labor opposes, and he ignores them at his government's peril. The sooner we can get rid of this chaotic and dysfunctional government, the better off we will all be. |

This government is a farce and the libs current strategy of accusing the other party if being terrorists is nasty. I hope they get karma

"A picture is worth a thousand words*."
* Might have something to do with the parlous state of parliament and the rushed through legislation to launch Australia into an experiment of back door decryption. Let the games begin! |
