First of all, I wouldn't object to an indiscriminate cut to immigration numbers.

And secondly, the latest Fairfax-Ipsos poll says that Australians are overestimating the current Muslim population.

The 2016 census put the figure at 2.6% (so maybe 3% now).

Australians estimate it to be as high as 17%.

To break it down for the moron, the single biggest cohort surveyed, 46% want less or much less immigration from Muslim countries.  Clear and unambiguous.

Turdy thinks if he adds the second single biggest cohort, which is 35% which wants no change to the smallest cohort who has an actual opinion which is 14% who want an increase, he magically makes those who want an increase to be 49%.

Doesn't work that way Turdy, adding those who don't want an increase to the smaller amount who do, doesn't make 49% who want an increase.

Only 14%, the smallest fraction of those that had an opinion want an increase.

The single biggest majority of the survey at 46% want less or much less.

Of those 35 how many want an increase, nil, of those 46 everyone of them are not happy with the equilibrium, they have an opinion and that is to reduce Muslim immigration.
Either way the movement is on to reduce not just immigration but Muslim immigration and the politicians have acknowledged this.

Just cull immigration period.
No more refugees.
No more asylum shoppers.
No more free loading pricks with 10 wives making a killing in this country.

What kind of pizzas do you eat? Ours end up being almost 2" high. Pepperoni, ham, anchovies, pineapple, capsicum, prawns, mushrooms, olives, fetta, sun dried 'matoes, onion, etc... It's a feast.

The way you guys are talking, it is as if he is going to cut what 50% or 80%?  Well, that is not going to happen.  We in Australia, have a fundamental problem of an ageing population.   Our tax payer to pensioner ratio is getting lower and lower over the decades.  Someone had to look after the elderlies, in the hospitals, in homes, and nursing homes.  And that means someone else had to come to fill the other skill gap.  Or else, we risk a breakdown of society.   It is as simple as that.

Not neccassary, the government of the day can manipulate quotas for areas at will and they have been doing this with Muslim immigration for some time. Unless they are refugees it is almost impossible for a Muslim to migrate to Australia atm.

Stopping immigration from Islamic countries will undoubtedly reduce the threat of terrorism.
Our infrastructure is not coping with the present level of immigration "it is as simple as that".
