When the last Ice Age happened (over a 10,000 year window) - the Aboriginals experienced their worst ever DROUGHT, since their occupation (invasion?) 40,000 years earlier. The Ice Age brought about a drying out of the continent, to such an effect, it really did 'scuttle' their cultural progression and what the rest of the world discovered, come 222 years ago - was a culture that was a shadow of itself and just 'surviving'.
Sure, Fire Farming, might not be the best method - in drought conditions and the vast 'Parklands' that were seen by the New Settlers, must have been amazing before the Ice Age. Bountiful 'gardens' of sustainability. No other peoples of the planet have ever manicured the 'natural' provisions of Flora & Fauna without having to 'domesticate' and 'crop' it.

Anyway - so now apparently, the World is [color=#ff0000]Warming up.[/color]
The result of which, means - INCREASE IN MOISTURE/RAIN.
Only one problem: TREES make RAIN, but the deforestation of the planet by 80% has kinda thrown a spanner in the works.
This can only mean one thing: DISASTER !!  :o
