Deer numbers must be increasing, Australia is the worlds largest exporter of goat meat perhaps we should start exporting Venison.

I recently saw a large stag with a full set of antlers cross a roundabout under a freeway in the suburbs of Brisbane. It came limping down one of the on ramps.

When I first moved to my new region of Australia.
I was living in the bush.
It was great.
Wedge-tailed eagles, lyrebirds, roos, wallabies, wombats, etc ...and one BIG DEER WITH ANTLERS LIKE A BULLBAR.  :o

It makes me wonder what they have to eat in a bush covered with just leaf and twig?

Venison is delicious.
My top meats are:

Emu
Venison
Kangaroo
Whiting
Water Buffalo
Red/Pink Salmon
Abalone/Paua

It makes me awesome.

Free range Venison wandering in the streets.

There's been reindeer for decades eating right on the edge of Mount Ousley road (Appin to Wollongong).
Unlike Kangaroos - they are a bit more road wise and mostly cross at the wee hours of night.

Venison, like Kangaroo - is a high quality meat.
