Just noticed this info on last year's tax receipt. Not sure how they separate income tax income from other revenue streams:

One has a surgeon giving him 40 points but
the Centerlink doctor giving him zero points.

You need 20 points to get it.

Another 2 are taking Centerlink to court soon.

No way - the figures are true -
the old age pension & the NDIS were both unfunded liabilities.
Such costs are massive.
However - the real cost of all those public servants is hidden away in there.

Nearly $15 billion a year for interest on government debt.

I guess that's the breakdown of where income tax is spent, those earning just over $80K a year would be paying $20K in income taxes.

We should end the family reunion program which brings in elderly migrants to go on aged pension.

OAP is NOT unfunded liability - it is based on the continuing 7% deduction as part of income tax towards eventual retirement pension.

Same applies to unemployment insurance bought and paid for by taxpayers - you can argue DSP as you like, but only on the merits of how and why it is given, since DSP is also covered by that income tax contribution.

If you think it is a free ride - go get it......

Politician and public servant contribution from the public purse, much more than their direct contribution, however, is NOT funded in any way apart from directly out of tax receipts or borrowings, and is a direct cost to the economy.

Get used to reality... it's going to start biting deeply very soon in this nation.

and others who have to struggle for every penny.
