I can't remember the last time I watched Q&A.

Tonight's panel isn't going to get me in, I don't think.

If it's in Lismore, I guess they'll be discussing the legalisation of marijuana at some stage.

It's been a VERY good show - with a diverse range of views on farming, the drought - and drought assistance

Bloody Hippy farmers... I were a 'hippy farmer' - planted coupla hundred trees on our property, grew my own veggies (man), had ducks and chooks....... had no arguments with snakes and such that visited and ate rats and mice....

Still have vegetable gardens and fruit.... do as much for myself as I can....

Wouldn't describe myself as a hippy though.....

Responsible land management and use of land is not being a hippy.....

I DID see a bearded hippy there....

You cant be too Conservative.  Conservation is good for the environment.  But you can be too radical. ;)

What are the conservatives doing ? Apart from advocating coal and wanting to walk away from renewables and giving polluters money to ……… pollute via direct action

All Australia would be happy for you to pay their electricity bills till they become as cheap as they once were under just coal and hydro.

I heard Littleproud said "bugger the banks" in some populist flourish.

Shame though that no one asked him to reconcile this sentiment with him being part of a government that wants to lavish these same banks with billions in tax breaks.

::)  How many times, O Lord?  The prices shot up following 'privatisation' and then climbed again... nothing to do with the start-up costs of new technology.  Feeding multiple business people to do what was done by one set of government people was never going to produce lower or even equal costs, same as roads, gas, buses, trains and every other 'privatised to create more efficiency' utility.

A correct term for it is highway robbery....

This, UNFORTUNATELY, highlights left/right political divide on conservation, the environment and climate change

The left want to act

The right want to be SEEN to act

The liberal party cannot be serious expecting the states to sign up to NEG when even they don't agree on it
