Lokking at this its only just above 2012 lowest today...... a lot has melted in 2 weeks by the looks :)
The artic sea ice extent for today picture at the top...... when I try to get the image I only get a java link..... ohh well.
It was higher 2-3 weeks ago but now its almost the same as 2012...... ;)
If it keeps going like that it will be the worse year ever....
Considering all the high temp on the northern hemisphere its not looking good.

no idea, bobby was saying how this year there was more ice and when I looked , its almost as low as the lowest year recorded ,   still looks like its dropping.
But hay if u have theories please let us know  ;)

It was a cyclone.

BTW  - there appear to have been 2 cyclones in the Arctic in June and July.
