A simple change to "Politicians" would suffice. So sick of seeing that heading with the idea that some 13 year old wrote it.

Politicians DO suck ,so it’s a no from me.

They certainly suck... That's a given. Perhaps "National Politics" since we have state politics forums that would be in line with that.

I think yes, we all know that lots of politicians "suck" in lots of ways. However, I agree that it sounds very "14 yo American" and needs some updating to something that more reflects the general Australian consensus, because this is labelled as an Oz politics forum.

I'm comfortable for it to include politicians wordwide to a certain degree, but discussions there could also come under the topic of "thinking globally".

I like Yadda's suggestion to remind ourselves that they are (should be) our servants and not vica-versa.
It's been an observation of mine also where I think that we get bluffed into believing otherwise.

I don't agree. The system may suck as well but it is the politicians who make sure that it sucks.

"Christ on a stick!"  FD has changed the name even though voting has not been closed.
