Title: A Forum mod that I think many users might want Post by LearJet on Mar 19th, 2018 at 2:22pm
I've seen it on quite a few other Forums, and I think it would help quite a few posters, including myself, that's why I'm suggesting it to tell the truth.
Many times when we get into reading a lengthy thread we lose sight of the OP's original post and comments. Rather than going all the way back to the first post on the first page, why couldn't we just have the original post repeated as the first post on every page. It's only one post, and it would save time not having to always flip back to the first post to make sure you understand precisely what the OP meant us to be discussing, especially when the Subject conflicts with a thread that has gone way off topic a few pages before what you are reading. Can it be done here on OZPOLITICS. If not thanks for reading this, but if it can, will you consider taking the time to implement it? What does everyone think about this? Do you see it being useful? Would you want it? I would make a poll, but I'm not 100% sure on how to. :-[ Thanks :) |

I believe a lot of forum software does allow that as a setting!
Good idea how about checking freediver? |

I think it would be a great idea. Might even help keep threads on topic |

And a decent search engine. It's an exercise in frustration trying to find other people's posts and Google doesn't have them all.

The site already has a really good customisable search engine. You just have to figure out how it works.
