I'm done with this place.
I think I've done my bit over the years creating threads & hits, but I see no point
in continuing to contribute to the profits of a management I have no respect for anymore.
Better to spend more time at another site with stricter and IMPARTIAL moderation, which does NOT tolerate interference with members' posts OR childish disruption OR sewer behaviour.

Different business model I guess. Different something.

I wish all the best to those I respect here, from all sides, a few of whom I've been able to PM.

is why the forum moderators continue to allow stalkers to torment forum members ...

think Aussie and Gweggy...

time and time again non stop when certain posters post aussie and gweggy are all over them like a rash..

they sit and wait.. all day and all night.. like a stalker would do...

as soon as they see their targets post BAM!!!!!

I agree with those who say Aussie and Greg are emptying this place out- and there is one Mod and its not Vic or Perc or Gandalf etc-he knows who he is - he wont give the job up and yet says he doesnt want to be a mod ::) so Aussie uses him - to control others and he allows it to happen- we all know his problem - he openly admits it in fact

Instead of doing anything about this we say 'Goodbye Boges"- is this is how this is going to go ? Just wave him goodbye a long term very good and non abusive poster- that is letting the bully/ies win- / We need Gmod elections asap so this situation doesnt empty the forum- demand change-

GMOD ELECTIONS !!!!!! there are a few good pp who could mod this forum fairly and impartially-

Give OZPol a chance? What do you mean? You'll have to put it to FD, I'm more than happy to stand aside but he has refused my resignation. I have hardly been here for several years, but Setanta has always been a very cool person, funny and fair, and if you get that, you are getting more than most of you deserve.

Poor Fd is in a similar spot, because anyone who WANTS to do it, is invariably tool.

That is not what any of us want- but you do mod mainly for aussie- even trolling members on his behalf- we have all seen it- if you behave and acted on behalf of all members here there would not be a problem- you need to have a frank discussion with aussie and tell him a thing or two- "90 percent of pms on ozpol come from aussie" I read that Set and its not hard to read between the lines it it? I tend to agree, "Nicole". All of them that I've read, except Marla and someone who's name I cannot remember at the moment and perhaps you, tend to be overly concerned about imagined slights than actually debating a topic.

I'd like to also point out that Valkie, Geoff (Grendel) and Soren (Frank) have often stalked me but it appears that no one particularly cares about my welfare. I can handle them, treating them with the contempt they deserve. ::)

I prefer not to put it all out in public but to b e totally honest I do not feel supported in any way by setanta....as a female who has had more than a share of abuse tipped on her......you would understand some of us females would like to feel we have someone reading the threads from our point of view...

for us to read where a man supports another man completely....

doesnt exactly make us all feel equal..

you will find a lot of members here see setantas support for aussie as being over the top...

I am now at the stage where I see certain names in threads I dont post there again...

and I have stopped from posting in relationships at all..

I must say that some people are being 'melodramatic' over others being on this Forum.
Maybe they have been 'spoilt' for so long in getting these members banned often, that it has become an 'addiction' and lacking that 'FIX' of late has made them frustrated and they are now chucking wobblies, throwing tantrums, whinging often and basically trying every conceivable excuse or piece of poo they can pick up to throw.
Hell - a good example is Redmond Neck (from 'the' Group often known as the Sewer Rats).
States that I stalked a Former Member called Freedumb.
Not that he knew anything about FreeDumb.
Not that he knew anything about FreeDumb's and my 'friendship'.
Not that he knew anything about FreeDumb's and my 'falling out'.

...But he does know that any piece of 'rubbish' he can find he will throw around as if he has something on me ::)
In truth, he continues to bring this up ::) like a jilted potential-lover who got jealous because FreeDumb and I got on so well. And then he thought he could justify his failing by 'being her saviour (after she had left the Forum)' against me, when we had our falling out.

NO I AM NOT.
I do know what it is like though, because I used to be one.
It is a pain.
Also note being a good mod should not stop you from being able to state your opinion anyway you want, it just means you adjudicate fairly on how others behave, both those you agree with, and those you do not. The trouble is people not mods are unaware of what goes on behind the scenes, in PM's where people get warnings, and also the cumulative effect of repeat offenders getting less leeway than first time, or rare offenders.

Sprint and Cods know I rarely agreed with anything they said, in the day, but nor did I ban them for holding their dumbass views. ;) ;)

i use them as the emotional juice to fuel an upward spiral.

think of it like you are an elite athlete out for a training run and you see 10 fatties chowing down at a maccas. that just makes me want to train harder.

and when i encounter trolls, that just makes me want to be even more of a quality and superior man.

they then serve YOU.

interacting with them now keeps you on the "narrow road to success" ;)

Re the poll, which Mods should be removed?

Booby should be removed from the Dubyne MRB so it can become Environment again, Gordon should be removed from Extremism exposed and Sprint from Spirituality. Deleting posts for no good reason is not on.

Agnes is making a pigs ear out of Tavern and Lisa has no interest in Real Estate nor snippy in Fringe.

They could all, with profit, be replaced by better Mods or, as somebody said, remove those that censor not Moderate.

Or is it the GMods? They could all be replaced, I agree. Hicks should NEVER have been made a GMod.
