Title: Why should anyone take moral lectures from Shorten
Post by matty on Mar 1st, 2018 at 9:33pm
Seriously, talk about the pot calling the kettle black. I thought that Michaelia Cash's comments were a little OTT and uncalled for, but seriously why should anyone take a morals lecture from Shorten or Tony Burke? Both men are adulterers who left their wives for other women, just as Joyce did. I have no respect whatsoever for cheaters and hence no respect for any of these three men.

Do you just stay with somebody because you got together , what happens when grow older and find out you're completely different people and really have nothing in common ? Should you stay together because some non existent entity in the sky said so ? And ps Barnaby didn't fall on his sword because he played hide the sausage

So you don't discriminate between separation/divorce and adultery?

Leftwinger just got caught out because he constantly makes excuses for the Labor Party on impulse.

What has morality got to do with answering straight forward questions....Complete bullshit to avoid answering the question by hiding behind faux moral outrage???

I'm not outraged. I'm bemused at the twisting and turning about the difference between separation/divorce and adultery.  ;)

Sure she was OTT but that is her problem she needs to deal with it, bit reactive, why would anyone take moral guidance from anyone ? Suggests to me that you are dysfunctional if you do . As for any MP the types of people that generally get into politics usually have motives so I have no idea why they like hand wringing they are mostly full of crap.

Regardless who gives out moral lectures, Cash was wrong.  The coalition members who support her (i.e. Dutton, Turnbull) were wrong to do so.
Merely because one isn't an upstanding stalwart  model of goodness doesn't mean they can't make a comment on the big mistake you've just made.
To the average voter it would look like weaseling out of an error.

Don't take moralising from anyone.

E.g. the last person on here I take moral lectures from is matty. So holier than thou, its a question as to what he has hidden in the closet.

More like slandering innocent woman with nothing to back it up....Cash needs to put up proof of her accusations or quit in disgrace....Look at the outrage of exposing someone's adulterous behaviour when Barney was accused of something he actually did (despite the PM and Deputy PM refusing to go public about the affair) claiming it was a private matter....We now know the Coalition do not even believe their own bullshit!!!

As Michele Grattan wrote today, it is not Shorten giving any lectures on morals.....it is the PM with his new addition to the Ministerial Code of Conduct.

No matter his record.  Fact is, and contrary to what Matty claimed in the OP....it is not Shorten giving lectures on morals.

PS...go read your PMs for more details.

A better strategy would be to leak it through the media but they might know about it anyway.

Depends on what your talking about with Joyce the only issue I see is creating jobs for your mistress, I assume this happens every where not just politics..... Joyce has paid a big price for it.
As for Shorten all I see is is staff doing what staff often do.

Shorten has done far worse than this in taking union kick backs  to sell out worker rights and forgetting political donations.

Leak what Fred....Do you really think if News Ltd knew anything about Bill Shorten's young female staff members they would not publish it in a flash....Lets not forget the rumours Cash claimed were circulating Parliament house were about young female staff members in Mr Shorten's office....Despite the fact nobody in the media or Parliament from either side knows what the f@#k she is talking about....Cash should resign in disgrace unless she can substantiate her slanderous claims against these young woman who are not politicians and are entitled to be vindicated against slander from an inept Minister hiding behind Parliamentary privilege???

I see your not much of a strategist like Cash, no idea what News knows they often hold back on this stuff for similar reason but given your style it looks beyond your comprehension.

Since we got politicians who were lawyers making claims of bullying - they should report and have it prosecuted.  There's anti-bullying laws after all.
If they won't. they know they can't because it wasn't bullying and no leg to stand on.
