Is this available in Kangarooland?
https://youtu.be/vgS2L7WPIO4 Just binged watched it over the weekend. Still find Wynona Ryder a bit annoying and the actions of the chief of police illogical a lot of the time. |

is it as interesting as ozpol? |
Title: Re: Stranger Things Post by greggerypeccary on Nov 6th, 2017 at 2:21pm Yes, it's available in Kangarooland. I watched the first season earlier this year, and watched the first episode of the second season yesterday. I like it. |

I have Netflix Cods, it does have some good stuff on it. Make sure you have a good data allowance on your internet plan though, it can really chew through it! I use around 250 gig per month and we are light to medium users. |

what's light to medium use? one movie a week? one a day? |

Yesterday for instance I watched 8 episodes of the new startrek spinoff "Star Trek Discovery" (which surprisingly is very good!) Then my wife watched a cooking show for around an hour and a bit. I pay the extra to have 4 accounts so the grandkids can watch the Kids channel when it is too inclement to go outside. I also stream netflix through a VPN which means I can change the country Netflix is coming from and watch a lot of content we can't get, or cannot get yet. So it does get a bit of use |

That's why I have unlimited NBN. I don't want to be checking my usage all the time, just to see if I can watch another movie or not. Some good stuff on Netflix, cods. Join free for a month - if you don't like it, you don't have to continue. Even if you do decide to pay, you can cancel it at any time - there are no contracts. |

I am not sure about my server... we dont have NBN yet...I have iinet.. how much does NBN cost you greg if you dont mind me asking....I suppose you have the top of the range... |
Title: Re: Stranger Things Post by cods on Nov 6th, 2017 at 3:24pm
Coronation Street is the most addictive.....American shows always seem to go off the original story, lines
I watched the Dome first time round then it all went wonky... I do watch Bold though even though it drives me mad. |

Yes, the new one. Brilliant. Seriously weird. Like Eraserhead weird ... but i'm a fan of that. Much of it isn't set in actual Twin Peaks and there isn't enough time spent on some of my favourites (although the Log Lady is there in all her glory) but it makes up for it and some. Highly recommend it. |

Title: Re: Stranger Things Post by Gordon on Nov 6th, 2017 at 6:49pm
I'm extremely picky with my shows.
I watched S1 of Stranger things, was OK. S2 is not better or worse, I just don't want to invest time in it. Narcos was excellent, Ozark, Get Shorty was fun. New season of Peaky Blinders soon.. w00t. |

The music in this season sucked arse. I tried so hard to hear what David Lynch was hearing in it but i came up well short. And you have to watch it because there's bits of the show through it sometimes. |

I love the music. Bought the soundtrack as soon as it came out. The new Twin Peaks came out earlier this year (much like Sir Booby). I think it's on Stan though, not Netflix (Twin Peaks that is, not Booby. Although ... ). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTp6d7Bw79A |

Yeah he's usually great with music. But this season is a succession of really terrible stage acts you have to sit through. And yes, on Stan. |

Narcos, Ozark, and Peaky are three of my favourites. Ray Donovan is probably my favourite at the moment (I think that's on Stan). |

Not on Australian Netflix. We won't get it until next year. I'll do what I did with season three - go buy the DVD (I couldn't wait for it to come to Netflix). Same with Ray Donovan - I went and bought season four :( |

We had Netflix for about three weeks. There was very little that I was interested in.
Spoiler alert!!! There comes a time in life when you start to recognise repetition of plot devises in fiction, that is if you are actually interested in how it works, and not just looking for some way to avoid your own plot. This is common, and why most retirees die of bordom. |
