So if we take your compounding CO2 effect at face value; there shouldn't have been any hiatus.

But isn't the mantra warming oceans outgassing more CO2? What you really need is an energy budget that shows total CO2 emissions, or anthro emissions or natural emissions. You need to parameters to work out the third.

Don't forget China has been known to lie about their emissions.

Did you see where clams and bivalves emit methane? That isn't in the methane source budget. So all the figures on anthropogenic caused methane emissions, don't stack up. You need toatal methane emissions minus natural emissions to get anthro emissions. A climate model won't do it for you. ;)
