Still 26C in Canberra ... I have air conditioning but rarely need to turn it on during Summer ... my house stays relatively cool ... but once cooled down I need the heating ... I like it to be about 22C indoors ... ALL year!

Where do you live? I have been enjoying mid 20 degC temperatures for the last week, as a result of the rain we have been receiving in CQld. That, and the cloud cover.

We did not have much of a winter. And it has been hot for about 6 months of the year prior to April. I was so accustomed to it. Awaiting the heavy downpours and to listen to the thunder. That is something I miss.

About the only good thing about summer are the skirts.

Well just the opposite here in NSW Southern Highlands. In the last few days I've been thinking we'll be lucky to get 4 months of warm to hot weather this year, being November through February. It depends on March, sometimes it can be warm/hot sometimes it chills down.
At least we've started to get a little rain.

You failed to mention the bikinis and the coconut oil.

20mm of rain for the June to September months here in Rockhampton. A few days back, we got 100mm rain for about 4 hours in the night. I only mowed the lawn last Monday. The lawn already needs a mow again. I picked the right time to fertilise the lawn, though. Greenest it has ever been.
