Victorians are running full tilt on a rat wheel economy that Australian politicians and their mates in a few chosen sectors are enriching themselves on. It is the perfect exemplar for what has gone wrong across the nation.

Imagine if some far right militia had just taken to the streets of Germany.  Imagine that the militia covered their faces with balaclavas. Imagine if they smashed up buildings, set light to cars and otherwise made the centre of a major German city resemble a war-zone. Would it not attract attention? Would it not also, quite rightly, lead to major opinion pieces and much opining elsewhere about the far right being ‘on the march’? Would it not be treated as something more than just weather by the BBC and other news organisations? Imagine the weeks of reflection if a movement of the right had just left a city like Hamburg, looking like this after it had visited:

Of course it wasn’t the far-right who laid waste to Hamburg last week. The group ostensibly rioting because of the meeting of the G20 was a conglomeration of groups from the far left – groups who claim to be anti-fascist but increasingly resemble nothing so much as the fascists they claim to oppose. As I say, I would understand and participate in the outrage if the far-right had just done this to a European city. But why is this deemed not just normal, but apparently just something we have to live with when it comes from the far-left? And are there really no greater lessons to learn about this growing threat of our time?

Al Gore, ever the eco-imperialist, participated in a "Climate Change" forum and its affects on the economy, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Gore suggested that population growth in Africa is a big problem that must "be addressed". He mentions "fertility management" which is a euphemism for population control. That sounds much like the goals of Planned Parenthood's founder, Margaret Sanger's racist goals of controlling the number of black and brown people in the world.

St Kilda assault on December 1

A group of 20 youths beat two men unconscious on the St Kilda foreshore, robbing one as he lay on the ground, in what police have described as a “unprovoked, random, senseless, brutal” attack.

Detective Senior Constable Nathan Sheppard told media that three friends had been walking on the foreshore at 11.15pm on Saturday December 1, when they were approached by a group of about 10 young males at who were perceived to be of African appearance.

The group briefly assaulted the men, who did their best to defuse the situation.

The three men walked further down the foreshore when the group of youths came back, their numbers having swelled to about 20.

The 20 youths then attacked the men again. One man was punched and then kicked unconscious. While he was down the youths went through his pockets stealing a phone and a wallet.

Police are searching for a number of youths who could assist them with inquiries following an attack on the St Kilda foreshore.
His friend came to his aid and was also punched and kicked and knocked unconscious.

The third friend was chased from the area by the group of youths.

“Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the young African males involved in the incident,” Detective Senior Constable Sheppard said.

Police have released still images of those they think may be able to assist with their inquiries as well as CCTV vision of the incident.

One man suffered a broken nose and facial bruising in the incident. The other suffered cuts and bruising to the side of face. Both victims were concussed.

Asked to describe the attacking, Detective Senior Constable Sheppard said: “Unprovoked, random, senseless, brutal are probably the best words that come to mind. The CCTV probably tells a fairly telling story of what took place.”

He said it was hard to identify why St Kilda foreshore has attracted a recent spate of attacks.

“You could speculate and say there’s alcohol and drugs involved, but it’s hard to say.”

He said the offenders were aged between about 15-20 years old, based on the CCTV and still images.
