He inherited a country on the verge of a Great Depression with unemployment over 11% and an international reputation in tatters. He left it with a strong economy with unemployment well under 5% and a restored reputation.

Sounds like a pretty good scorecard on such important elements.

Actually, I knew someone in USA whose diabetes medication was $2000+ per month and decided to go without it for a year to save for a house. Instead, she died.  The same drugs here cost less than $50/month and after a while, are free.
