Is there no end to the sickness of the vile Greenies that HATE Australia with a vengeance ?

The vile Greenies do everything they can to try to implement the UN AGENDA 2030 here which would be a disaster for Australia.

CANBERRA -- It's only Tuesday, but federal parliament has this week already dealt with two separate pushes to change the national anthem. But don't worry, you won't need to learn any new lyrics anytime soon.

'Advance Australia Fair' has been our national anthem for more than 30 years now, after replacing 'God Save The Queen' in 1984.

It's pretty popular and well-established, but the occasional push to change the anthem -- or at least a few words of it -- does crop up every now and then.
One such campaign has come from Victorian Supreme Court judge Peter Vickery, who has been pushing to change the second line of verse one from 'for we are young and free' to 'in peace and harmony'.

The judge says Indigenous people may find it difficult or upsetting to sing that line, and claims his suggestion is a better option.

WHY?......it was written a long time ago....for a whole different time......

leave things alone lets get some tradition into this country some real Pride in who we are and where we have come from...

I am sick of people wanting things to change....WHY we live in the best country in the world....and it didnt happen without our history..

What about the vast majority of people who are no longer young, it must be utterly devastating for them to sing those words. The horror!

The new line is not much better for those who are neither peaceful or harmonious, it's fkken disaster.

The greens are well within their rights to push for change on behalf of their voter base. I dont know what your problem is. Whether or not it passes, thats for our democracy to work its way.

“Advance Australia Fair” sounds like a funeral dirge to me, would like something a tad more upbeat. “Waltzing Matilda” is not really an anthem so not a choice IMHO.

The vile Greenies HATE it because it is a cornerstone of Australian tradition that the Greenies want to destroy and replace with ISLAM.

Don't get too bent up about it Julie, after all, Liberal senator Andrew Laming started this whole "change the anthem" thing.

Mal has saved Australia from the very evil Greenies wanting to convert Australia to ISLAM by retaining our National Anthem ADVANCE AUSTRALIA FAIR.
