Title: WWTD? (What Would Trump Do?)
Post by longweekend58 on May 11th, 2017 at 1:00pm
In the curious world of Donald Trump, even the appearance of trying to be fair, reasonable and... patriotic, doesnt get a second consideration.

After firing the FBI director for running an investigation into Trump and his campaign for possible collusion with the russians, his THIRD firing of someone conducting similar investigations into his campaign, what would a reasonable and clever person normally do? Seek to look like a president and try and cool the temperature of the growing scandal?  Not Donald. That would be too clever and reasonable.

Trump instead conducted lengthy meetings in the oval office with the Russian Ambassador and other senior russian officials. And the only reason we even know it took place is because of photos and news about the meeting from TASS - a russian newsagency. No american press were permitted in or even allowed to know it happened.

So how does a rational person conclude that there ISNT collusion between trump and putin?  Simply put: you don't.

I understand the suspicions, but you can tell the media have it in for Trump when they use phrases like "conspire with" when talking about the diplomats of a country that the USA is at peace with since it went full-on capitalist. They certainly would not do that when the Saudi ministers visit the White House. By all means, take Trump down, but do it with an even hand or you are as bad as him.

with the level of incompetence and collusion that this administration exhibits, your issues with moderate (and admitted) bias are not very meaningful.
