A Frenchman has run foul of the law after he was caught engaging in a sex act with a chicken.
The man, from the small French town of Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray in Normandy, was handed a three-month suspended sentence for sexually abusing a domesticated animal. It has – surprise, surprise – led to the break-up of his marriage.

Local media outlet, Normandie Actu reports that the man's wife and one of his daughters caught him in a sexually compromising position with the bird, after arousing the suspicions of his spouse.

Prosecutors had been pushing for a prison sentence for the animal-abusing spouse so that he “understood the gravity” of his crime – but this was rejected.
However, the man has been punished on a number of fronts for his crime. His dejected wife has since left him, his seven chickens and a goat were confiscated and he is now banned from owning any more pets.

"My client is obviously filled with shame and the couple has since separated," the man's defence lawyer told Le Parisien newspaper.

The media haven't stated the name of the chicken and if it was underage.

I had heard many years ago that the French peasants had sex with chickens and cut the chickens heads off during the act, allegedly the chickens anus convulses when the head is cut off.
