the 'narrow road to success" is so far above the paradigm they are living in that they just dont get it. you are literally talking another language.

No, not at all.
i will use any source that helps me move up.
studying success, studying failure...its all very helpful.
i ran a couple of businesses and , eventually , did quite well and became interested in what causes failure and success.
that led me into studying what causes success and failure in relationships and what causes success and failure in achieving goals (even if the goal is just to chill the f8ck out, you still have to understand how to get there).

the most fascinating thing , to me, and the biggest insight is that its much much easier to move up when you have "evolutionary pressure'.
and , once a society becomes successful, the evolutionary pressure is removed and the members of that society are screwed.
if you arent then willing to put the evolutionary pressure on yourself you will fall into lower consciousness.
clinging, wanting, consumerism, taking, blaming, excuse making ....all of these attributes which are the core of the welfare society will destroy you if you do not have the discipline to put the pressure on yourself again and again and again.

because it is just so easy to quit
it is so easy to just want to pleasure yourself.

when i see the queues of people lined up to buy gold lotto tickets for the megadraw, i see a queue of people who jsut want to quit.
they are tired and they are just over it.
they are gone now.
the fire is out and they arent coming back.
and thats 99 % of people.
