Title: Putin Lust (sympathy for the Germans) Post by NorthOfNorth on Mar 5th, 2017 at 5:10pm
And so the disease has hit Australia...
At least one thing is being proved... How a dictator infects the minds of the gullible... Pauline Hanson says Australians want a 'strong' leader like Russian President Vladimir Putin http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-03-05/australia-wants-a-leader-like-putin,-hanson-says/8326254 |

Perhaps Pauline is only speaking figuratively and is giving a not too subtle backhander to lack luster Mal.
When the Lib 1 Nation coalition is formed it looks like Pauline will be PM. |

I'd bet Hanson couldn't pronounce 'figuratively' never mind speak figuratively... Should British politicians have slammed Chamberlain by praising Hitler? |

What a pathetic little nudge-nudger you are. Everyone wants a strong leader. As long as they have checks and balances and regular, fair and open election - as in the US. You should check into some Betty Ford clinic for the politically deranged. You have gone completely mad over a democratic election that didn't go your way. You are, at heart, the real, pathetic fascist. |

Gay rage much? Yes, everyone wants a strong leader. As long as they have checks and balances and regular, fair and open election... Does that sound like Putin's Russia to you? |

When does anything this imbecile ON tart has to say matter? She only appeals to RWNJ's who have given up on their coalition and are scrambling madly trying to find something,....anything to fill the gap.

Strong leader - one thing. Checks and balances and fair elections - another thing. The point - if you put a Putin-like man up against Turnbull in a mature democracy, who would want the latter over the former?? Why does everything common sense need to be spelled out to you guys?? What is it about your reflex 'oh-yeah?' when it comes to plain, common sense points? Your inner, frustrated bush lawyer always makes you engage in idiotic hairsplitting. You think you are clever and vigilant but you are just plodding idiots. |

Putin doesn't have to put up with a ratbag Senate.
If someone does not agree with him they just disappear. Recall a year or so ago how that bloke that was criticizing him was gunned down ? How long would Shorty last over there ? Or Mal for that matter ? Maybe Pauline is getting onto Putin's good side for when she will lead the One Nation Liberal coalition after the election. |

If it turned out that the stronger man was also, say, a serial killer, would that tip the balance for you in favour of the weaker? |

A democratically elected strong leader in a system of checks and balances is preferable to any other.
Step forward, Prez Trump. Margaret Thatcher. Howard. Reagen. Menzies, Churchill. |
