Title: The Best Ccampaign, Election and Inauguration ever
Post by Sprintcyclist on Feb 2nd, 2017 at 1:08pm

That was the best Election and Inauguration ever.

Trump campaigned his socks off.
The media was hard biased against him.
They never gave him a chance.

Hillary put in a poor performance, relying on her deeply flawed experience and getting the female vote.

All true. Trump did it his way right from the start. He bowed to nobody.

Unfortunately, this will probably undo him in the end. Under the constitution, the job of a president is to carry out the will of Congress. A president must work with others.

We'll see if Trump changes the role of president. If he's too inflexible, his decisions will just be changed in the Supreme Court.

Mind you, they once said this about the role of German Chancelor too. Look what happened in 1933.

To be honest....I've never seen such a display of celebration  in America before.

It was all different this time.

It is different, but 49% of Americans want Trump gone.

Trump has the highest negative-approval ratings of all newly-elected presidents. His approval ratings match Nixon's during Watergate.

Trump can't govern a country effectively with such a population against him. The Nixon/Vietnam period showed this too.

It will be good when we start getting objective measurements of Trump rather than best or worst ever.

You cannot silence the media and put them offside with every utterance..media can and will make you or destroy you as a Politician..he doesn't get this, which is good, just means he will be gone sooner rather than later.

I have done a little youtubing on Trump..his early day stuff, I don't believe he was then unfit to Govern then, but that doesn't tell you his state of mind now.. the best I can give him now is he is deluded and ignorant and largely out of touch with with world affairs and diplomatic relations in general... he is so out of touch and it would seem willfully ignorant, the man who thinks he knows everything,  thinks has nothing to learn , this makes him dangerous, to all of us.

Don't worry.

His approval ratings will take off soon once the economy begins to improve. Higher wages - more jobs.

Its the economy - stupid!

Now....BECAUSE of Trump....I can't get enough of American politics.

He's made America well...more interesting.

He's very charismatic and has an Idontgiveashit attitude towards anyone trying to thwart the platform of promises he was elected on.

I kinda admire the guy. He has guts.

Donald Trump on the other hand held 87 events in the same time period of which only 7 had crowds estimated at less than 1,000.

Trump backed himself. He gave money .

Hillary did not.
she took money

Quote:
................The final figures are not in yet. Open Secrets reports $14 million. If memory serves, Trump loaned his campaign $50 million for the primary and $110 million for the general, and has written this off. Hillary has evidently not written off any loans yet, and may not need to because she had almost half a billion dollars, more than twice what Trump had. Her campaign probably still has money.

In her 2008 run, she had loaned her campaign about $16 million, and Obama helped her pay that off.................

IN 4 years time with the economy in tatters and a couple new wars, the Democrats could put up a serial killer and still win. That's assuming the Republicans themselves dont impeach him before then.
