cant believe I made gnocchi the other night from grandson....with potato he gave me a 6 and I know he was being very generous...
then bugger me last night it was on the menu for the midwives...only using ricotta cheese instead of pots.. everyone so far are getting low marks..one has already failed.. getting a 1 for their desert...lolol.. |

Cods....just so you know....our little kids now rate EVERYTHING they eat out of 10. They role play the MKR program. All the freaking time. The last time we all went out for dinner as a family...the kids gave the waiter a 2 out of 10 and a 3 out of 10 after being asked how their dinner was. And it was a great Thai restaurant. Now their ratings reflect how much food they'll eat on their plate. I don't want to see our kids learn to be fussy and selective about food. I do want them to learn to eat all their dinner and be thankful for it. I do remind them every now and then that millions of kids in the world are starving. God knows what rating they'll give me tonight. (I have 7 well marinaded lamb shanks and roast potatoes slow cooking in the oven atm...and the house smells lovely!) |

MKR and Masterchef are the only 2 reality shows I watch. I hate those celebrity jungle shows, the big brother type ones and all the stupid wedding ones they have on now. ARGHHHHHHH
The boys knocked it out of the park last night and good for them!!! I wonder what Mr Cranky Pants will come up with tonight??? His sister is a bitch. |

I would like to see the girls win too. The blonde one is fun, and they need that, even after getting such a low score. The Asian couple have gotten bitter and we have enough bitter people on these shows.
In the ad for the elimination they had Pete telling the loser that they had been eliminated and he moved his eyes to the left. In another ad shot the girls were on his left and the Asian couple was on his right. I hope it was done like that just to fool us. |

I used to be the same ... even a mouthful of fish would have me running to the toilet to vomit. That all changed when I got to about 35ys of age, it stopped bothering me and now I actually enjoy eating fish Although Murphy is once again playing games ... pre 35yrs of age I used to go fishing all the time and I almost always caught plenty of fish, just to give them away ... once I started eating them I've struggled to catch anything :D :D :D :D |

Tonight might be a laugh. All the ads imply they flop, and flop badly, but we know the ads are a sham and not indicative of the truth. Then again, maybe the ones who have talked themselves up the most will be the ones going head to head in the elimination. Will it be Alyse and Matt v Josh and Amy? |

it looks like a set up to me...or the camera guys a dobber....probably gets paid extra for each dob... to be honest I thought their menu was terrible....it was all stir fry..... the dessert wasnt at all spectacular I am sure they were all starving.. |

why both teams claim they are such good cooks... when all bar their entrees.. were basically uneatable.. their meals even looked terrible... they are two teams bragging how good they are.. ::) ::) how can a man claiming to be all knowing about cooking FISH,,, then put the fish into his curry 28 minutes before serving.. ::) ::) ::) ::) who does that?... then I did smile when Alyse told us all how fish makes her vomit... even proving it on one episode.. and then they cooked FISH for entree.....and not one heave....a miracle... 8-) |

well thats my best bet gone....and its now the two most boring couples.. although I am sure they have fans..
just that brother and sister have no personality at all rather sniffing pair if you like as if they are mixing with thedregs... and mum an daughter I am sure cook beautifully but why does it all look the same??>.thats not what a cooking show is meant to be is it???.. and to me using the pressure cooker for everything is just as bad as using a microwave.... its a shame one of my fav shows... I feel let down... I guess Amy and Tyson will take it out though. |

I gave up on MKR early. Masterchef used to have great demonstration sessions by the chefs but that has deteriorated. Will look but probably will switch off pretty quickly.

I'll watch, but would have preferred an Amy/Tyson V Tim/Kyle final.
Far, far from the best series of MKR this year.......won't be watching in future. |

I was hoping it would be between Tim/Kyle and Tyson/Amy too. Unfortunately it is not so I hope Tyson and Amy win.
The Indian cooks are ok but that's all they can do. Indian. Same spices in every dish. That's the problem with the Asian contestants too. It's all too much the same and doesn't show any diversity in their capabilities. |

yes bo thats what I say as well very all the same I was a bit annoyed at the use of pressure cookers as well... they cant use microwaves yet can use a pressure cooker every time....I mean who cant cook using a pressure cooker... ::) ::).. I understand once in a while but not every cook.... to be honest I didnt really gel with any of the contestants this time round....Amy and Tyson I found very bland and once he got control of himself he had no personality at all...give him his due he was a very good worker .. well done $250.000 not bad.. |
