I hope I read enough of that to get the gist.
I don't choose a deity, I choose a path without one. I think I've said why that is the case. You and Gandalf have chosen other paths and you are free to follow them, I see no value in what either of your beliefs offer. You know this, it's not likely to change, but as with speech, I uphold your right to believe what you both need to believe. To me it's crazy but have at it. Just don't bring the rest of us down in your selfish desires to want more that life gives.

If there is a god of some sort, he's not yours, he's not Gandalf's, and if he can create the universe, he does not need help from either of you pathetic beings. Leave him alone.
