Cods - I pushed to have Unforgiven unbanned. PA is not desperate to take in new members, but if too many members kick up a fuss - then he'll have to leave again.
I have noticed his good posts and haven't noticed the bad ones that much. Maybe he'll fit in - maybe he won't. I don't have a problem with him, but I am only a single voice. |

Thanks Cods and Unforgiven for your support on SN's notice thread. He's a nice person, but I'm not able to post back there for a while. I couldn't survive as a moderator - so as an ordinary member - I would be slaughtered with abuse and wouldn't stand a chance of survival.
However that only applies to me - all the recent new members will be looked after very well to prove that PA is a welcoming place and looks after their own. Good luck SN. PA will do well now under your leadership with some positive direction and no encumbrances. |

Unforgiven is fine as far as I'm concerned. He doesn't bother me - most people on these forums don't bother me unless they're truly nasty. If he's sticking to the rules - there shouldn't be a valid reason to ban him. I'm sure there are worse posts than his there. Sparta is full of out of control threads. |

Haha. You could apply that to any forum. Some people might get a thousand chances - others might only get one. The "rule" that applies to a particular individual doesn't have to be fair. It generally comes down to attitude and personality as to when and how a rule is applied. Do any moderators here know the rules in full? Do any members know the rules or even care about them? Some people don't get away with anything - others get away with everything. It's all up to the people who have some control. |

Aussie wasn't a member of Cracker. Just before it closed FD opened Ozpolitic and took over PA. Aussie was a member of the original PA. That's how some of us met him.
There are quite a few people who keep notes Cods. I can't see the sense in it, but if it gives a person some satisfaction - there is no harm in it. It would be a hassle though searching through numerous files containing thousands of threads to find a post made in 2007? |

I used to love that show too, although I can't watch anything twice with the exception of old re-runs of Law and Order. My daughter loves Laverne and Shirley - which I used to enjoy also. It's the simplicity of these shows set in a bygone era which is appealing. |
