Title: Bloated Orange Groper threatens Australia
Post by Dnarever on Jan 21st, 2017 at 7:38am
The Bloated orange groper uses his inauguration speech to threaten Australia.

Well I say just tell him to Phuk off. He apparently is going to drop the Trade deal well that would be a shame nobody here wanted it anyway. He does not get that it was a bad deal for Australia and that makes it a good deal for the US.

Donald Trump has used his first speech as US president to issue a warning to Australia and other nations around the world that a new era has begun with his arrival in the White House.

Old alliances, trade deals, relationships, no matter how strong, were put on notice.

Speculation Trump would walk away from his inflammatory campaign promises and take a more statesman-like approach in the White House was shredded by a speech where he put Canberra and every other world capital on notice...............................................

The Trans-Pacific Partnership trade pact championed by Obama between the US, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and eight other Pacific nations is likely to be scrapped by Trump within days.

For people who prefer transcripts.
(CNN)As prepared for delivery

Chief Justice Roberts, President Carter, President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama, fellow Americans, and people of the world: Thank you.
We, the citizens of America, are now joined in a great national effort to rebuild our country and to restore its promise for all of our people.
Together, we will determine the course of America and the world for years to come.
We will face challenges. We will confront hardships. But we will get the job done.
Every four years, we gather on these steps to carry out the orderly and peaceful transfer of power, and we are grateful to President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for their gracious aid throughout this transition. They have been magnificent.
Today's ceremony, however, has very special meaning. Because today we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another, or from one party to another -- but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the American People.
Words from the past: Inauguration speech library
For too long, a small group in our nation's Capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished -- but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered -- but the jobs left, and the factories closed.
The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories; their triumphs have not been your triumphs; and while they celebrated in our nation's capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.
That all changes -- starting right here, and right now, because this moment is your moment: it belongs to you.
It belongs to everyone gathered here today and everyone watching all across America. This is your day. This is your celebration. And this, the United States of America, is your country.
What truly matters is not which party controls our government, but whether our government is controlled by the people. January 20th 2017, will be remembered as the day the people became the rulers of this nation again. The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer.
Everyone is listening to you now.
You came by the tens of millions to become part of a historic movement the likes of which the world has never seen before. At the center of this movement is a crucial conviction: that a nation exists to serve its citizens.
Americans want great schools for their children, safe neighborhoods for their families, and good jobs for themselves. These are the just and reasonable demands of a righteous public.
But for too many of our citizens, a different reality exists: Mothers and children trapped in poverty in our inner cities; rusted-out factories scattered like tombstones across the landscape of our nation; an education system flush with cash, but which leaves our young and beautiful students deprived of knowledge; and the crime and gangs and drugs that have stolen too many lives and robbed our country of so much unrealized potential.
This American carnage stops right here and stops right now.
We are one nation -- and their pain is our pain. Their dreams are our dreams; and their success will be our success. We share one heart, one home, and one glorious destiny.
The oath of office I take today is an oath of allegiance to all Americans.
For many decades, we've enriched foreign industry at the expense of American industry; subsidized the armies of other countries while allowing for the very sad depletion of our military; we've defended other nation's borders while refusing to defend our own; and spent trillions of dollars overseas while America's infrastructure has fallen into disrepair and decay.
We've made other countries rich while the wealth, strength, and confidence of our country has disappeared over the horizon.
One by one, the factories shuttered and left our shores, with not even a thought about the millions upon millions of American workers left behind.
The wealth of our middle class has been ripped from their homes and then redistributed across the entire world.
But that is the past. And now we are looking only to the future. We assembled here today are issuing a new decree to be heard in every city, in every foreign capital, and in every hall of power.
From this day forward, a new vision will govern our land.
From this moment on, it's going to be America First.
Every decision on trade, on taxes, on immigration, on foreign affairs, will be made to benefit American workers and American families. We must protect our borders from the ravages of other countries making our products, stealing our companies, and destroying our jobs. Protection will lead to great prosperity and strength.
I will fight for you with every breath in my body -- and I will never, ever let you down.
America will start winning again, winning like never before.
We will bring back our jobs. We will bring back our borders. We will bring back our wealth. And we will bring back our dreams.
We will build new roads, and highways, and bridges, and airports, and tunnels, and railways all across our wonderful nation....
The rest is here...

With respect to foreign alliances, his tone was nationalistic, but he did say this...
"We will seek friendship and goodwill with the nations of the world -- but we do so with the understanding that it is the right of all nations to put their own interests first.
We do not seek to impose our way of life on anyone, but rather to let it shine as an example for everyone to follow.
We will reinforce old alliances and form new ones -- and unite the civilized world against radical Islamic terrorism, which we will eradicate completely from the face of the Earth.
At the bedrock of our politics will be a total allegiance to the United States of America, and through our loyalty to our country, we will rediscover our loyalty to each other.
When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice. The Bible tells us, "How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity"

I will be satisfied if, as part of that, we stop running off to fight wars in other countries...

"For many decades, we've enriched foreign industry at the expense of American industry; subsidized the armies of other countries while allowing for the very sad depletion of our military; we've defended other nation's borders while refusing to defend our own; and spent trillions of dollars overseas while America's infrastructure has fallen into disrepair and decay."

I'm hoping that means we tell Saudis to pick their own fights.

Told ya about this dayglo orange cocksucker, didn't I?

This bloated bag of fetid poo will lead a government of the wealthy, by the wealthy, and only for the wealthy. The billionaires in his joke of a cabinet and White House of retired generals and ultra-right ideologues that he has appointed oversee programs and social services have devoted their political causes to destroying.

The working class will pay and pay dearly for their huge tax cuts of the super-rich and a massive military buildup through the gutting of social programs like public education, Medicaid and Medicare while exploiting the erosion of whatever remains of American democratic rights.

The world will now see American imperialism like never before all in the global interests of war. Trump will relentlessly the attack on the social interests and (political) rights of the working class. He will bring about a nightmarish and dystopian vision of a capitalist system even he can no longer control that will dwarf the great industrial struggles of the 1930s.

Oh, and for all you trolls who want to blow him? Better learn to get off your knees.

Where is sprint and mechanic?  They are so in love with trump and he just told them to F-off!

So usa dumps the trade deal and China already has one in place and so everyone will simply join that and USA will be left out.

He can put 45% tariffs on all he wants but he seems to forget 30% of his cars from his own auto industry comes from overseas.

Excuse me, where in the transcript, did he even once mention 45% tariffs? Secondly -- and I realize that you don't know anything about the US government -- the President does not set tariffs or singlehandedly sign trade deals. Any treaties or pacts must be ratified by Congress.

Bankruptcy is certainly his skillset. But starting a trade war is a really bad idea and can only hurt USA. There is very little that america makes that other countries do as well and with a high tariff rate, suddenly they can buy elsewhere cheaper. One of the fundamental reasons for our current high prosperity is free trade - something he does not understand. Back int he 1970s with high tariff protection, locally produced - and american - cars were garbage of poor design and poor quality. Free trade lifted everyone's game.

Didn't President Trump say in his Inaugural Address that he is planning to sell Australia lock, stock, & barrel to China to settle $500 billion of America's debt to China?

Well??  So far the pablum puking posters, the crybaby losers of the extreme left, have so far said so many imaginary & mysterious things supposedly in Trumps address, they might as well tell us this "secret" supposed "Fact" directly from the CNN, MSNBC, & the MSM exclusives, that President Trump mumbled this sale under his breath, & nobody but they heard, but he still said while giving his Address.

So your saying that he was lying in his ingurgitation speech.

No. I'm saying he didn't mention 45% (or any percent) tariffs.

He's mentioned it enough times before. Were you stupid and deaf as well?

So let me get this straight, you are denigrating trump because he wants to drop a trade deal which is not to our advantage anyway. :-?

A lot of smarter people than you say otherwise. ANY trade deal brings out the usual suspects who claim it is bad but it is meant to be a DEAL - not a one-way rip-off. and thes trade deals have for decades now lead to the highest standard of living in history.

sentience. Something out of scifi and normally something you would assume in posters. Although you could replace green-snot with a random-generator. You could replace JS with the exact opposite of what I say on any topic. Sprint could be replaced with a Tea Party policy manual and mechanic could be replaced with a defective sex doll.

The TPP is being driven by America. Like most of these deals, it is politically driven. Fearful of China's rise, America wants to corral its allies under a trade umbrella. In the process, it also wants to further the interests of American corporations and American workers.

Specifically, it wants copyright laws and patents tightened and extended. These are agreements that offer protection to corporations and investors, usually justified on the grounds that innovation requires a reward.

The problem is, protection is the antithesis of free trade. Only a slippery politician could come with a strategy of strengthening protection under the auspices of a free trade deal.

Any less worthless than yours????

Quick to accuse....quick to blindlessly conclude with nothing but a fertile, but baseless imagination to back your innuendos with.

Guilty of one thing......being different.....Having a thought contrary to yours.

Your version of McCarthyism, eh.

Dnarever is the only one who has the balls to show legitimate doubt, rather than knocking her because "she's way too different".

At least AuntieM was willing to back up her positions with corroborative links &/or quotes. She uses logic to counter arguments, instead of lockstep vitriol like your lot.

Does anyone have anything outside of vague conclusions, or stab-in-the-dark reckoning to back up your statements.....or is she so dangerous........because she's too different & doesn't echo your argument?

If you can't counter her message with intelligent argument, you resort to attacking the messenger... how bloody leftist.

There was no inconsistency. Trump doesn't understand that it benefits his side and is going to scrap it. In the article it is assumed that he knows what he is talking about but nothing is further from the truth.

My advice would still be to tell him to phuk off and shove his trade agreement where there is no sunshine.

Here we go with the Victimhood paranoia again.

Strongly disapproving of those people whose agenda is to destroy your country from within and without - is a 'hatred' that's well placed, and being intolerant of those whose agenda is dictated by a foreign religion whose sacred tenets inform over a billion of the Faithful worldwide that your generational homeland is 'The Great Satan' - is a wise attitude to hold.

Using dog-whistle weasel-words to push certain emotional buttons as a rallying-cry to stir undergraduate mentalities into action is what has just got hundreds in America, Britain, and Australia arrested by the police for behaving like the aggrieved naive little children that they are.

There was no inconsistency. Trump doesn't understand that it benefits his side and is going to scrap it. In the article it is assumed that he knows what he is talking about but nothing is further from the truth.

My advice would still be to tell him to phuk off and shove his trade agreement where there is no sunshine.

President Trump stated flatly that the USA will pull out of this BAD trade agreement.....with valid/good reason too......we should reconsider as well.

For years, there's been negotiations behind closed doors for a new trade deal that would span countries bordering the Asia-Pacific, including the US, Canada, New Zealand, as well as several countries in Latin America and Asia. The deal is called the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement – or "TPP" for short.

The TPP agenda is primarily being driven by big business, big pharmaceuticals and big tobacco – but its impacts will affect everyday Australians.

Between foreign corporations suing our governments over public health measures and environmental protection laws, higher prices for medicine, and surveillance of Australians' internet usage, there's a lot for citizens to be concerned about.

What we do know from leaked parts of the agreement is terrifying. But most Australians haven't even heard about the TPP. That's why we need to sound the alarm now, and sound it loudly.

Makes sense to me.

President Trump, who has said it's a very bad deal for the US, very bad, is spot on. It's a very bad deal for Australia too.....it would cost us plenty!

Trump told the crowd at his inauguration as the 45th president of the US in Washington DC on Friday that every decision he makes in his four-year term will be "America first".

AT LAST a Western leader who vows to put his own country FIRST!!

WOW! What a concept! Putting your own country first! This is some sort of Political Breakthrough we haven't seen since WWII!

Well done Trump! Let's hope this starts a trend among the political elite of Britain, Continental Europe, Scandinavia, Australia, Canada ... to actually work for the betterment of their own homeland nations instead of trying to win United Nations and EU Brownie Points for how many Third World migrants and Muslims they can cram into their urban ghettoes.

That is the very first statement of war-mongers.

Get your head out your ass boy, The TPP actually started around the turn of the century ....... It's not President Trump's Trade Deal ...... President Trump had nothing whatsoever to do with the inception or concept of the TPP.

Anyone saying otherwise is flat out lying.

Trump's press secretary Sean Spicer said on Thursday the president-elect would stick to his planned list of executive orders aimed at striking down some of the cornerstones of President Barack Obama's eight years in the White House, including the proposed TPP.

One of my very best friends at work was a dark-skinned, Middle Eastern Muslim, and what he told me was that there'll never be peace in the Middle East for as long as the US and other Western nations maintain a military presence there.

If Trump can get the US the hell out of the Middle East - then that would be the beginning of all those Arab nations, and Iran and Turkey - having to sort things out themselves.

America should withdraw from its grandiose claim to being 'The World's Peace-Keepers'.

They should pull their heads in and only play a security role with Western nations who ask them to do so.

The fact is for decades now they've been creating more wars and more internal conflicts across the world than any other country including Russia and China.

Your point?

Any President working for the People (Trump is the People's employee) would be an idiot if he went to them & said otherwise.....He works for their best interests, so it's "America First" all the way.

I sure as hell wouldn't accept anything less......So, I'm sh!t sure the American People wouldn't accept anything less either......would you?

So, what lame country would sign onto a trade deal that would be bad for it's own National interests short or long term??

President Trump's spot on......he's dropping this lead balloon with both hands.....it's a turkey.....leave it to the turkeys!

Bravo President Trump!!!

BTW..... how well would TPP perform for Australian interests??

Do you even know?

Will we benefit ....... or, will we see it as a Turkey too??

You really think it was needed for him to insult Australia most of the worlds countries in order to be supporting his own ?

I say just tell him to bugger off.

The TPP is a crock for us we already have a very poor deal with the USA.

He wasn't talking to us in that address, he was speaking to his employers....the American People.....& he can say any damn thing he damn well chooses....it's the truth, & his people needed to know exactly where he stood & what he intended to do....As far as how we might feel about it.....that probably wasn't even a forethought....we are not his main concern, the American People are far more important to him than we would or could ever be. ;)

This guy was killed in a bombing raid quite some months ago, Bobby.

No he wasn't - he may have been wounded:

Don't spoil the narrative, Bobby. It reads a lot better that he was killed.

If European Australians can call themselves 'indigenous Australians' and nobody points to the-elephant-in-the-room, then so too can we by consensus agree that this 'Abu' is dead.  8-)

Bugger the facts, Bobby - He's dead because we say so, and who are we to question his right to be dead if that's what he believes he is?

You're not being racist here, I hope?
