He declares that USA should deny China access to disputed islands in South China sea.

That USA seeks conflicts when it is already extended by Iraq and Afghanistan and is at risk of conflict with Russia with US troop and tank movements in countries bordering Russia.

The South China Sea is China's area of influence and they will rightfully resist any foreign power attempting to exclude China from activities in the South China Sea.

If there is a shooting conflict, there is a huge risk that Taiwan will fall to China.

"In comments expected to enrage Beijing, Rex Tillerson told his confirmation hearing before the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee that China's building of islands and putting military assets on those islands was "akin to Russia’s taking Crimea” from Ukraine."

Akin to Russian taking Crimea from Ukraine? It is more akin to the US annexing the Hawaiian Islands, but Tillerson is probably oblivious to history. Ukraine has no claim to Crimea, other than Khrushchev's benevolence.
