Well, while I would not dismiss the comments of AiA on this lightly (he does live in the USA) I'd be staggered (not for the first time, politically, this year) if the Electoral College did not vote as is expected.

In the US every time someone wants to count votes the conservatives have a fit, they don't like it at all.
