There was exactly one time, in the election of 1824, that a President was elected with neither a majority of the electoral vote nor a win in the popular vote. If he wanted more money then he could do more property deals, rather than the expensive and time-consuming task of running for president.

Oh, that's easy. He's given up the salary so he can look good in any conflict of interest charges - of which there will be many.

He's not out playing golf because only a few people would watch him doing that. Trump wants an audience the size of the world.

Trump has never wanted to help anyone. He's made this clear from the start. Trump's entire pitch is about promoting your brand and getting one over the other guy. Read his self help books. Even Trump University stiffed its students.
