Title: What do we do with a problem like Ahok? Post by Mr Hammer on Dec 3rd, 2016 at 6:58am
Poor ole Ahok, the Governor of Indonesia (a Christian), made the mistake of quoting a verse from the Qur'an that imputed a Muslim need not vote for a fellow Muslim. Now the vast majority of Indonesians want his head. Shafi'i (or blasphemy) the 200,000 strong crowd chant. What will be his fate? Apparently beheading and hanging are off the list because he apologised. That leaves fines, imprisonment, flogging and amputation. I bet ole Ahok is hoping for fines!

Title: Re: What do we do with a problem like Ahok? Post by Yadda on Dec 3rd, 2016 at 10:28am Ahok? Give him to the moslem mob. And then we will really witness the purity and grace of 'the moslem', .....that virtuous man, who is a follower of Allah. . "Ye [moslems] are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors." Koran 3.110 |

What would you suggest poor ole Ahok's punishment should be, Carnal? I know, one way or the other it has to be limb-lopping with Muslims. Arms, legs, tree branches...

Jail is the only option.
Two rallies of 200k people. Imagine if charges were dropped or found innocent? Do you think the Islamists would accept the rule of law? |

True. Same goes for all the illegals on Manus and Nauru - not our problem. Same for the other Africans, Arabs, Rohingas, Afghans and all the rest of them fouling up their own countries. They are just as much our problem as the mayor of Jakarta is. Good point. |

I meant 'we' in a very brotherly sense. I mean this bad ass has to be dealt with; imagine a Muslim not voting for a Muslim. The question is; How much amputation is too much?

Entering illegally is not claiming asylum. It's intrusion. Claim asylum in Indonesia. It's safe. Isn't it? For Muslims it is, at any rate. |

Of course they can, of course they do. You can claim asylum anywhere, regardless of the country being a signatory to a convention. Today, UNHCR has more than 60 people working in Indonesia. As of end of January 2016, there are 7,616 asylum seekers cumulatively registered with UNHCR Jakarta mainly from Afghanistan (50%), Somalia (10%) and Myanmar (5%). Meanwhile the number of refugees registered with UNHCR Jakarta is 6,063 people mainly from Afghanistan (49%), Myanmar (11%), and Somalia (8%). |
