Trump will easily get a second term and the world will start to get very worried about Greenland melting.
Luckily he back flipped on denying climate change but the world requires action. |

Don't waste your time on the issue of election recounts. That is a bubble dream of the snowflakes like Marla.
An excellent analysis of the futility of the Wisconsin recount, probably funded by Clinton, can be found in zero hedge.com. This election stands and the transition proceeds. All but the deluded know that. |

The Electoral College don't meet until December 19. That's when the vote that really matters take place. It's very unlikely that they'll give the election to Clinton, however, it is a possibility (albeit a very slim one). |

As usual, blame California. As antiquated as it is, the Electoral College system which has always over-represented smaller rural counties at the expense of California.
Trump simply won 306 electoral votes to Clinton’s 232. However, a vote in the Electoral College, set for December 19, will officially entitle Trump to take the oath of office next January 20. By January 20 2018, Trump will be impeached. |

On what grounds ? p.s. Marla, greggery made a prediction too. An accurate worldly prediction needs some basis in reality. So on what grounds will Trump be impeached ? |

And with recounts in three states that could go to Clinton, Trump could still lose.

The election is rigged! No, Donald, you are only saying that because you think you will loose.
The election was rigged! No, Democrats, you are only saying that because you lost. |

The irony about Trump claiming it was rigged is that the majority of legislative attempts to disenfranchise subgroups of voters comes from the REpublicans. REmember 2000? They literally opposed a recount. How does any fair and reasonable person oppose a recount when things are so close? They are commonplace in australia and in WA, the recount forced a re-election. Nobody calls foul. We might not like it but we accept that democracy is about votes counting and in this case, actually being counted. The yanks needs a federal election system out of the grasp of states and various parties. In the AEC you cannot be involved in counting or taking votes if you are a member of a political party. In the USA, political parties virtually control the voting process! |

We need to get rid of democracy. Why so ? Because it seems that democracy just doesn't work, to the satisfaction of those who it is meant to serve. Hmmmm. After we get rid of democracy, what can/should we replace it with ? :) Hmmmm. QUESTION; Looking 1/ around the world, and 2/ looking across the history of mankind, .....when and where have men [and women, ...nod to Monty Python] been governed most fairly, and most efficiently ? Lets adopt that model! /sarc off |

The efficacy and the benefits [peace, justice, prosperity] for a people, of democracy [in determining governance of a society], imo, will always be thwarted and undermined where a [societal] environment of general lawlessness is tolerated and widely accepted. Where, the term 'lawlessness' = = little regard for the law, wherever/whenever the laws of the society have application to ourselves. e.g. There is no point or purpose in making a covenant with a person who is a known covenant-breaker [....in a situation where there is no 'adequate' penalty against a covenant-breaker]. A covenant-breaker is a worthless person. . Among a people generally corrupt, liberty cannot long exist. - Edmund Burke None can love freedom so heartily, but good men; the rest have not freedom, but licence. - John Hamilton The best way to convince a fool he is wrong is to let him have his way. - Josh Billings ".....lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God." 2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Proverbs 28:4 They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them. 5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things. |

longweekend, You should probably ignore all of my posts. And perhaps instead, you could pursue and read the posts of ppl like Unforgiven, and Karnal. Judging by your attitude to what i have written, i would say that you could probably become a lot more informed about the world in which we live, ...by reading the posts of ppl like Unforgiven and Karnal. They have their fingers on the pulse. Whereas my posts are way, way too long, and very inappropriately formatted, for people like yourself. |

No, there would be no court case. It would be completely legitimate. However, as I said, there's only a very slim chance of it happening. I'd say next to none, in fact. However, the possibility does exist, and it would be perfectly legal and constitutional. Personally, my preference is to see Trump impeached, and subsequently jailed, and for Pence to take over as President. |
