Title: Where is the Trump America voted for?
Post by Raven on Nov 14th, 2016 at 12:11pm
What happened to the Donald that America got behind?

All of a sudden he is not repealing Obama care, he appears to support LGBT rights, he's not going after Hillary and is not banning Muslim immigrants.

Despite Trumps big talk as an anti-establishment candidate can Americans expect "more of the same" for the next 4 years

Reality hit. Rhetoric on the campaign trail easy.  Complexity is harder.  Sometimes (many times)  presidents and prime ministers have to make choices where there is no clear easy choice. Some decisions are between some bad and more bad.  But you still get bad.

it is rather obvious that Trump has been overawed by winning and clearly he didnt expect it or perhaps, even want it.  Listening to him talk you hear the words of someone utterly out of their depth.

This is correct.

I suspect he didn't really want the job.

Why take on more work, a drop in pay, and less lavish accommodation?

He's out of his depth, that's for sure.

Nothing he's done in the past has prepared him for this.

Be interesting to see if he can swim.

I suspect he'll tread water, at best.

I'm hoping he will drown.

all the trump supporters can watch their silly dreams evaporate as the weeks go by. It wont take months.
