Title: Christchurch Earthquake Post by Greens_Win on Nov 13th, 2016 at 10:05pm
A severe earthquake, centred near Hamner Springs, has shaken much of the country.
The magnitude 6.6 quake was 16km deep and struck at 12.02am. Several shakes have hit since, including a 5.6km quake near Culverden. The Ministry of Civil Defence & Emergency Management says there is not thought to be a tsunami risk. Reports of massive damage are appearing on social media, with one person on Twitter saying houses had "gone" in Cheviot. http://www.radionz.co.nz/news/national/318000/severe-earthquake-shakes-nz |

That's because they are tough in New Zealand, and like to downplay the severity of an earthquake. |

New Zealand is like Japan, its full of Earth Quakes. Eventually, all of the New Zealanders will have to relocate to Australia. Do you know that there is no stamp duties on properties in NZ?

You ever wondered how much New Zealand looks like Japan? It is much like another recreation of a chain of islands off the coast of China. All they really need is a powerful cyclone to wing its way towards the islands, and maybe a few tsunamis, and then you have a mirror image. |
