Yep, way too many look at what Trump did or look at what Clinton did.

Is there a better way to judge them? Americans are uber-religious... They'd subscribe to the Biblical adage 'By their deeds ye shall know them'.. |

By policies? You know the normal way elections tend to be decided. |

;D ;D ;D You're not wrong. I love the way so many of the American cage fighters do all sorts of genuflecting, and kneeling, and pointing to the ceiling in praise of the Almighty just before launching a boots-n-all blistering attack upon their opponent across the canvas. |

Meeeeanwhile, Trump is ahead of Clinton in the polls whereas only a week ago he was 12 points behind.
"Latest national polling shows US presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are neck-and-neck, with Mr Trump leading by just one point — well within the margin of error. It is Mr Trump's first lead in the American ABC News poll since May, though it is a poll that has been particularly volatile. An average of national polls puts Mrs Clinton ahead by just on four points. Mr Trump's most recent campaign stop was Pennsylvania, a critical state that he needs to win in order to secure a path to the White House. Mrs Clinton is ahead in Pennsylvania and is preparing to make three campaign stops in Florida". link |

Really? Americans... They're not like the French... Every candidate's quirk (sexual or not) is fair game in a US election and always has been. For those who only listened to them, Nixon won the Presidential debates against Kennedy but was considered to have lost them by those who watched them. |

You have to understand the rather simple equation from which this election hinges: the more people that turn out to vote, the more likely Hillary will win. And what will determine this? The Trump vote is already fixed, that can't be changed, but what will decide the election is how many people turn out to vote for Hillary. Each side is campaigning on how dreadful the other is - and the election will be decided on which of these negative campaigns cuts through more. If its the democrat message against Trump, then more people will vote for Hillary (or more accurately, vote against Trump). But if the repug message against Hillary cuts through more, then less people will come and vote for Hillary. |

'............ 'By their deeds ye shall know them'..........' Sounds sensible to me. What do you suggest? |
