Donate Blood

The title says it all, folks. If you are looking to do some extra good for the community, and want to do yourself some good, give blood. Giving blood helps save lives, and can help save yours. Think of it like an oil change for your car. Donating blood will help your body produce new blood cells, and keep you healthier longer.

Don't try and bs the public with, "I will only donate if they pay me" rubbish.

Its a great feeling giving blood.

I did it quite often when I lived in a civilised part of the world.

I scrape in by one month for this eligibility question.

Lived in the UK for a total of 6 months or more between 1 Jan 1980 and 31 Dec 1996?

Giving blood this week. Apparently, the donation centre is getting refurbished. So, they are having blood donations at a van somewhere.

I was kicked off the donor list because I admitted that I had a stroke in the previous year (2024, at the time). They had no problem accepting my donations previous. But, if I kept my mouth shut, I would still be donating to this day.
