Title: Aussie's turn in the sin bin
Post by Redmond Neck on Aug 27th, 2016 at 11:29am
I have been contacted on another site by Aussie, apparently he has been banned but doesn't know what for and for how long?

My guess is Gmod criticism but who knows!  ::) ::) ::) ::)

Any feedback would be appreciated!

ooooooo cant criticise a gmod....... but but aussies been doing it since time began...lolol....

so that cant be right!...unless he got into their own private little mod cave and told them a fact or two on how to run the place......he does have  a way of doing that...lolol..from what I see aussie would have to cross some very darklines to be banned....

ones we havent thought of red... ::)

Red we don't discuss any suspensions with third parties and we damn well don't discuss them in the open forum.
If a poster is suspended then when they are allowed back they can engage with us as to why.

;D ;D ;D

Unfortunately it's Aussie's Authority Complex that keeps getting him into trouble.

All he need do to stay off people's tit is to confine himself to the subject matter on the threads, and keep away from ad hominems and personal intrigue behind the scenes.

Being banned is grist to Aussie's own mill. He loves this sort of gossipy scandal - even if it's his OWN arse that's in the sling. He's having a ball with this.

I did realise that was the case Andrei, but rather than PM all the Gmods and be told to mind your own business, I thought someone else might be able to throw throw some light on what happened, or a Gmod might read this and take it upon himself to do the right thing and let him know.

Anyway he is keen to find out and I have passed the message on.

he argues until he beats you down into agreeing with him...thats a win

my dream now is to stay as far away from him as possible...I wish he would respect my space...I remember dear perc having to ban him from PMs and then he left the modship shortly after.....a nervous break down maybe?...or an aussie break down...hilarious I know hes reading this I hope he is making his usual notes....

Okay, I've been sprung.

For all those who have conjected that the suspension ("ban" is the word used here ~ and it ought be "suspension") had something to do with anything I said not in open.....nope!  Whatever my sin was........it, (I'm yet to be told) whatever it was, was something I posted in open.  Nothing sneaky behind the scenes anything, cods as you have been saying.  I do my stabbing concerning management front on, never behind the scenes.

Thank you Redneck for asking on my behalf as I did request of you.

Strombecker's was a model car raceway place in Perth - upstairs on the east side of Barrack Street between Murray and Wellington Streets.

I spent a lot of time during the late 70's and early 80's in the amusement place underneath Strombecker's. They had lots of old pinballs and other amusement machines. Good times. :)

That's the old SEC - State Energy (or Electricity) Commission of WA building behind it in Wellington St.

Been a while since I was in that part of Perth.

I used to go to that gaming joint on the west side of the road in late 80s early 90s and timezone , took my boy to timezone at innaloo  cinemas years back and the same chinese lady from the perth one was running it , probably 20 years later . Think she actually remembered me sticking the whipper snipper wire in the machie clocking up free credits lol

10 pin up towards Osborne Park?

Title: Re: Aussie's turn in the sin bin

I liked the old Crystal Palace in Murray St. near Pier St., just down a bit and across the road from Miss Mauds on the corner of Pier and Murray.

Crystal Palace was a lot like the amusement place under Strombeckers, kinda 'seedy' with lots of old pinballs and other types of machines.

Leisure and Allied Industries did a major revamp of Crystal Palace in mid 1980 and it became Perth's first Timezone amusement centre, clean, modern with an emphasis on family entertainment.

The building is still there but I think it's now occupied by Good Samaritans.

When it opened in 1980 it was a bowling centre, squash courts and roller skating rink. I think the roller skating rink was in a separate building at the back.

It was at the corner of Scarborough Beach Rd. and Sundercombe St., the building is still there but I don't know what's in it now.

There's a big apartment/office building where Fairlanes used to be. Right next to the old ABC site (which is in the process of being redeveloped) in Adelaide Terrace.

At least they're keeping the old Adelaide Terrace ABC building as part of the redevelopment (I think it might be heritage listed so they may not have been able to demolish it).

I know what that's about Big Vic.  I've been reading there over the last several days.  I've decided I ought to see who gets up to what there, and if it is relevant to here, and it turns out it is.  You think I am 'Rio?'  Wrong.  I am banned permanently there.  You are backing the wrong horse.

I have given enough warnings.  Skippy, do not post in Relationships until 9.30 pm on Wednesday the 31st August, 2016.  I cannot PM you as you have me PM blocked, but a copy of this will go to FD and the active GMods.

Clever, even funny.  So, it stands.

Don't cross that line in the sand I have just drawn.
