The sauce was so hot that I couldn't breath properly
& only by eating bread & drinking some water was I able to revive.
My eyes & nose watered & I thought my eyes were going to pop out.
How can people eat that poison?

Tabasco is an acquired taste, but I like it on eggs and added to meat dishes.

My parents used to like tripe, I hate the stuff, again it's an acquired taste.

Tripe
Grilled Mutton Birds  (I still remember the smell after 50 years!)
Roast Lamb Flap with white parsley sauce (we were pretty poor!)
Liver in any form
Brains

And probably a lot more from the 50s/60s era, but this I could not even look at - whale sperm - which is an extremely expensive but utterly delicious entree in some asian countries

A few drops in your tomato soup ... or any soup ... and on melted cheese on toast with sliced tomatoes ... and ...

Brains was a big favourite of my brother's ... and roll-mops (raw herring).

Calamari and jellied eels would top the list of my garbage foods.

At a Hmong Wedding really in the middle of nowhere in the Nth Highlands in Vietnam. Boiled pigs intestine. It smelt like sheet, and tasted vile.

Seafood, except some fish and prawns. Oysters make me gag.

The other day I was out in the sticks (Epping) and got a take away latte and it was disgusting. About zero chance it was single origin freshly roasted. How can people live like that?
