They are a bunch of babies who have been getting their own way for so long, they cannot get their heads around the idea that their nonsense is not shared by a majority.  For many, their entire lives have been spent within a leftoid bubble, being reassured that it was only a fringe of shadow-dwelling racists who disagreed with them.  The revelation that it is in fact, most people who have had enough, has shell shocked them to the point they are like an Amish coming in contact with the outside world for the first time. 

Their heads are still spinning.  Their entire worldview has been shattered, hence the overblown displays of histrionics.  Give them a week or so, they'll calm down, but if you thought this was big, just wait until November when Trump gets elected. 

The combined force of 100 million leftards heads exploding at once will dwarf Hiroshima and nagasaki. 

There are many lefties who will feel compelled not to respect the majority and damn democracy when there opinions and worldview aren't being met with support.

I know many lefties that support Britex, and many righties that were on the remain side of the camp. The E.U. is about the free trade or goods and workers, something more synonymous with the right side of politics.
