Title: The weather
Post by Nicole Page 2016 on Jun 7th, 2016 at 5:10pm
Please share with us, on a daily basis, what the weather is doing in your neck of the woods.

Laugh til you cry will collate it and use your information to report on climate change.

Canberra. It got to about 10C today and the sky was cloudy but no more "showers".

I have noticed that my Snowdrop bulbs are starting to pop through ... they are usually the first Spring bulbs to flower around here.

They look like this.

Is the early flowering of your Snowdrop bulbs unusual? If so, could that be related to carbon?

They are not in flower, yet, but last year I think I had snowdrops, jonquils and daffodils in flower around end of July.

I have Camellias and Azaleas that flower in Autumn and Spring (same plant, twice a year).

If you believe what the rightards in here post, Islam is responsible for all terrorism, all rapes, all crime, all welfare fraud, and all violence.

Surely it must be responsible for bad weather too.

Nothing wrong with discussing The Weather, Cods. Every time I do a shop at Woollies, everybody starts chatting about The Weather ... it is probably better than them telling me what their children are doing or who died or whatever ....  ;D

Everybody talks about the weather, but nobody does anything about it.

listen sport everyone knows I am fine if my feet are warm.. if they are not I get chilblains and I get mean and cranky...a bit constipated too but I prefer not to discuss that in public....

I am also not fond of pills and odd bod cures....I tried packing the toes in baking soda.. take my word for it it doesnt work..... its when the wind chill factor.. what ever that is gets into gear that I worry...keeping out the drafts gets harder as one gets older.

Well my goose fat cure will put you to rights I keep telling you. Baking soda is only good if you have fungus between yer toes.

No cods I don't want to talk about your business end, but prunes and strong coffee are the go, but we don't want to talk about that do we?  Get some depend's pull ups, they are all the go now.

Hot & dry. Although it did rain rather hard here yesterday. My assumption for this summer is a major drought resulting in numerous forest fires which is good - it'll burn these Texuuns and Californians out and hopefully they'll go back home where they belong.

Pleasant warm days. Cool to cold nights. Expecting it to get colder over the next few weeks, until it returns to this kind of weather by July.

For those who don't live in Sydney, the seasons start and end very abruptly here. There's no long Spring and Autumn like in Europe.

Within a fortnight it can go from Summer-hot to chilly winter mornings.
